Hi
Has anyone got pictures of the actual pins yet? I'm really curious to see them, the examples listed on Pinpics look really nice. I'm curious, because their priced at only $12.95. I especially like the Belle and Cinderella one's.

Sponsors could prebuy them at PinCon last month but I don't know if they showed them at the event.

The info on Pinpics seems to indicate that samples would be on show at the event, but the pins would not be received until late September. I just wondered if anyone had gone to the event and taken pictures.

There were samples at the event, but there were always people crowding the tables, so I didn't get a picture of them. They're all good sized, high quality pins.

I can just imagine, its good to hear they are a good size, ..... thanks for responding!

I didn't go to the event so I didn't see them in person, but I can speak to the low cost. The LE100s cost so much because they are Limited Edition, and also because they are HUGE and often have multiple pin-on-pin elements and multiple layers of printing over the enamel. These are Limited Release, smaller than the LEs (by the listed dimensions they're still larger than a lot of pins, though), and look to be more basic design-wise (for instance, flat pins rather than pin-on-pin).

There was someone who took pictures of all the preview pins and posted them in the King Pins Facebook group. I'll ask for permission to post them here.

I was talking to Lenny at PinCon age he said these small pins go through a similar (albeit simplified) manufacturing process as the larger pins. They are also planning on releasing 16 new designs per month at the Shanghai store. So it could get very expensive keeping up with these if someone wants a lot of them.
