Moana pin set released tonight!

Can't wait for more Moana pins to become available, thanks for the update! Hopefully these make their way to the UK store as well.
 
They were sneaky with this set! I checked ds.com at 12:30 and they didn't have anything up (at least, not that I could find).

I debated getting this, but if I decide to collect Moana pins I'll just focus on Pua, so it's not worth getting the entire set.
 
So I am really new to pin collecting and I am still trying to figure out how to navigate the whole forum and understand how it works but I really like those Moana pins they just released and I am wondering as to why they haven't sold out??! Does anyone of you experienced collectors can tell me what I should be looking for? I really like the set but I am not an expert collector and don't want to get it if it's not worth it.
 
^ It's an expensive set for a movie that is not yet released (so no one knows yet if they'll like it or if it will be popular) with a high edition that's easily gettable, meaning lesser trade value. Therefore, it's only worth getting if you want the set to keep rather than for trade.

The general rule of thumb is SUPPLY vs DEMAND. The SUPPLY appears to be 1,000 sets so thats pretty high and the DEMAND is a HUGE ?

If this movie is a homerun like Frozen was the $80 investment will provide a good return

If the movie has sort of a lack luster response you will have a hard time getting your money back


Each time I have seen these Limited Edition sets I have always stayed away.

I do think though that Moana will be a HUGE hit...almost like Lilo and Stitch BUT the risk is that it could be MEHHHH
