Hi, so Lost is my favorite show of all time and I just discovered that there have been a few pins created over the years based on Lost. Ever since, I have tried to become a Lost completist. Right now, I am two pins shy of that feat: 42447 and 48847. The first one, I should be able to get relatively easily, but the second one has proven to be quite the challenge, especially purchasing for a reasonable price. Everywhere I have looked, the cost has been significantly higher than I would expect, considering that there are probably not that many people in the market for Lost pins.

Anyway, if anyone has either pin, I would love to trade for it. My pinpics id is the same as here. I would also be willing to purchase for a reasonable price if we don't have any matches.

Please someone help me achieve one of my grails. Thanks!

48847 is very rare, in twenty years of collecting I only ever saw it come up once for sale, so I paid a ridiculous amount to acquire it. If you want it that much, you need deep pockets, ....... unless a friend is prepared to help you out! Good Luck

There is one currently listed with a buy it now price of $90.

Thanks, I saw that one. $90 is probably a little too high for me to go on it. I found another for $60, but when I asked to see the back of the pin, the seller refused and banned me from purchasing any listings. Was that poor pin etiquette on my part to ask to see the back? The seller said that a flatbed scanner was used and that they couldn't show me the back and then banned me. Seemed excessive, but I must have insulted the seller in some way.

That's happened to me before, I asked a seller for a picture of a pin, and got banned from their auctions, so don't take it personally, some people are just touchy, or up to no good. It's nothing you've done.

If they used a scanner to get the front with the pin post on the back they should have been able to get a picture of the back as well. They probably did you a favor banning you. I would be leery. Write the seller with an offer on the $90 pin... can't hurt to try

Thank you both. I'm glad I asked for a second opinion on this because I have only been collecting for about 2 years now, and there is still a lot for me to learn about pin etiquette. I think I will take your advice, Rocke, and see if the seller is willing to come down on it. Thanks everyone!
