Sold Out @ D23?

Hey everyone,

Curious about whether anyone knows if the DS Marvel Box Set sold out during the Expo last weekend, or if they'll be offering it again in the near future (a la the Art of Snow White set that's coming up for DS Europe). Really just want to know if I should hold out for it, or see about getting it on the secondary market now while it's "only" at a 50% markup.

Appreciate any help you guys can give me!

If you are talking about this set, an employee told me it was sold out.

Was it Expo exclusive? Were any of the sets Expo exclusive? I recall hearing even the Designer sets would be sold half at the Expo, and half online later? I wonder if you could ask Disney Store on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) as they sometimes will answer such questions!

I don't believe they answer those types of questions. If we see them show up in a European banner, then maybe they would. But before hand, they don't answer.

I believe if it has the D23 Expo mickey ear logo on it then it will not be sold elsewhere was what we were told. That logo meant it was exclusive to the event. Without that logo it could just be an "early release" item. At least that's what i was told.

Two years ago, some of the designer set was held back for the EU market, if I'm recalling correctly.

I kinda thought that might be the case, was hoping that since it was thru the Disney Store I might have a shot :/
