2018 Pin Releases
Hey @starry_solo or other mod, the image I used was taken at LIAA of the preview boards that were released during the event. Does it still count as being internal?? I took it from twitter via Disney Pins Blog (it's a totally different photo than the flyer that was released)

I saw those. I like the crumbling emblems. I’d eat the heck out of both sundaes!I thought this was announced last month but DSF posted this. Whew! Almost thought it was a PTD release!

I’m not expecting a giant turnout for this one (unless people go just since nothing new’s come out in awhile). Hopefully we’ll get lucky with our pulls!
Refresh me on what time MOG opens ... I wanna make sure my popcorn is hot and ready when the bloodbath starts.

I'll just be waiting until Wednesday to see if all the resellers leave some behind for the cast members who actually follow the rules...
I get it. They used to do online first, but for some reason, switched it to in store first. Since then, I've been having problems getting the popular pins. Half of the Imagineers are spread around the world, so your plan would make sense. I've pretty much given up on them doing the right thing for non-California cast members. This is what surprises me: That Disney, in its infinite wisdom, does not reserve a certain amount to be released online. Like, 150 for MOG in-person sales and 100 for the Hub. Or vice versa. Instead of "We all know this is going to sell out on site so there will be no crumbs for all the CMs who don't live right in that exact area of the country ..." Without question, there will never be enough of these pins for all who want them, and I totally understand having pins exclusively for cast (ie, the "public" needs to stop whining about THAT). But they really don't give the bulk of the "cast" a fighting chance at this stuff, ha. If ANYTHING is left for Wednesday's online release, I will be shocked. (Sorry, Sarah--I do hope you have some luck, but the resellers are going to be merciless on this one so I gotta be blunt.)
We should post here what some of the resale prices are. Just for fun
We should make it a drinking game. Take a shot every time someone on Instagram shows off multiples of each pin.
This. This for daysI want DSSH to time the release of the new PTDs to drop at exactly the same moment as MOG opens. Just to see the resellers' brains explode as they try to be in two places at once.

Ugh. The real pins are as disgustingly gorgeous as we all feared. (Photo from disney_pin_universe on IG.)
Cindy has some heavy eye liner for sure. XD the others look quite good though.Honestly? Cinderella doesn't look that good. And Wendy (bless her) looks a little odd. Not bad, but odd. The top row is not properly viewable to judge. None of which does me any good on my Alice Dilemma, ha. But if I were interested in the full set, I think I could talk myself out of it ...
