For only having spent 1 day (Sunday) at D23, I had a blast! I found one of my nursing pin wants from the sales booths, plus picked up a couple of very nice traders for well below cost.

The pin trading table set-up was less than stellar, but was fine. I met quite a few of you guys for the first time, so that was a plus. Special thanks to Stuart (Disneypins99) for taking on the official role of DPF Pin Bag Watcher, CaligirlUCR for helping me diversify my pin trading bags, and jroxxfoo for the free Phineas & Ferb tote heads-up. I did see a few more DPF'ers table-hopping but was not able to greet you guys, so sorry about that. Please stop by and say hi if you see me!

I also got in touch with JJ (Jabberwocky) again - we miss you (even though you and Caligirl got my hopes up with your Von Drake/Scrooge mixup :cry: - you're forgiven)!

All in all, it was great fun! I will see you all at DLR PTN on Friday, September 16. It has not been officially announced, but my DPF "spies" have confirmed this with multiple sources. I will make a formal announcement thread when it is officially announced by Disney.

Nice to see you there too! We didn't pin trade at all, as we opted to enjoy the convention instead! Did see many of you and hope everyone had a great time! Jon, please confirm as Saturday is September 17th, not 16th. Perhaps another Friday night PTN is in the works! Looking forward to it! Thanks to all who made our convention fun!
 
Yes, nice to see you Bricklayer and hearts48! Had so much fun trading with so many people from near and far! Got several of my wants and made several three way trades for my son and some friends, oh the trill of the trade. :smile: Special thanks to Dave! Hope to see lots of you at ptn. :wavey:

I was at the expo on Friday and did not know that the designer set was being sold till I got home and read this forum. Saw the Disney store shop but just figured they were displaying/selling the normal items, so did not even stop by there and did not hear anything about them being sold. Anyways was very happy to get my Chip & Dale expo pin. :)

I totally planned on going w/ you on Sunday but as I'd mentioned; I had plans to go Friday -- those fell through -- I had to pick up my dad @ LAX on Saturday, but his flight got delayed until Sunday...so yeah -- the weekend got all jumbled up and nothing worked out :(

sorry I couldn't make it out to meet you guys! but I'll definitely try and be there for DLR PTN on the 16th for more DPF media coverage for those on the east coast and across the pond!

maybe we can finally get that DPF group photo ;)

:lol: No I didn't. I was only there Sunday =/ I ended up having to pay a bit extra for my set, but now that deal seems up in the air as well. I will know for sure today if I successfully purchased it...and I only wanted Rapunzel! The rest I will trade off.
 
I can't believe all the money me and my gf spent at the Expo.... We are going to be hurting from this for a while..good thing it's every 2 years... haha
