As I had stated we started collecting to remind us of the memories we had at Walt Disney World with our grandkids, daughter and son-in-law. But since then pin collecting has gone some different directions and revived a few hobbies I had from the past as in trains for one and photography another.

Here is a picture of our latest acquisition.

Here it is in its rightful place on our Magic Kingdom shadow box. The Epcot and Train box coming soon.

OMG I love your shadowbox and especially the jumbo!!! <3 <3 <3

That was the acquisition from Toddandi, which came in today. He also sent the flying Dumbo pin in the box along with a train pin for the train collection. Kudos to Toddandi for offering it, it must of hurt to let it go. Tonight I will be showing the grandkids the shadowbox when we Facetime, we are very proud of the jumbo pin really sets makes the box shine.

Wow...what a spectacular pin! Can't wait to see the train board (my oldest son collects trains/railroad pins - we'll have to compare collections)

Thanks for all the compliments all. CCofRR13 were does your son find all his pins they are at times hard to find or out of reach so just biding my time and pick them up when I can.

That is one nice display. The Jumbo balances out the other pins and a great idea of doing different parks. Can't wait to see more!

Thanks for all the comments. I can already see we will have to rethink the size of the shadow boxes due to the amount of pins we already have collected. The picture posted is in a 16x20 frame and we want to add more pins to it, but we do not want it to look over crowded. So bigger is better is the way we are going and I will build some bigger shadow boxes.

Thanks, we also like the way it is coming along. I find it a challenge to find and get the nicer train pins, but I think we have done pretty good so far.
