RSP results are in. I can get the Rocking Horse pins and the Frozen Film Strip pin. If you want to Trade keep me in mind.

I'd be interested in trading for the Khan rocking horse. If there is a Phillippe too, that one as well.

IMHO MUCH BETTER than standing in line for HOURS and not getting anything. Especially after the June MOG fiasco in WDW!! Same process as at the big Pin Event each year and hopefully we all have an equal chance to get pins we want.

ALSO, they said that no pins will be available at the MOG store - I will believe that when I see it though.

Interested in buying or trading for Sitron the rocking horse! I don’t have a huge amount of traders atm, but I am a CM with access to MOG so we can probably figure something out!!

I got everything that I wanted on my RSP, so I am happy with the process. Since I have the VIP ticket, I expected to get everything that I asked for. I still think that the leftover pins and framed sets will be available at the pin pickup popup store, just not at the MoG popup store!

I was wondering how they would handle the VIPs. I would be pissed if I paid all that money and didn’t get everything I wanted.

I think the D23 Anaheim event would have too many attendees to make this possible, but then again I wouldn't put it past Disney...
I think some Sorcerer Ticket holders would be cry foul though because they get first priority to line up and buy whatever they want, they wouldn't want that turned into an RSP and lose out on some of the pins
Since Gold Members only get the early bird ticket offer, the RSP link could only goes to those Gold Members. I would imagine that first priority to MoG pins would go to the 300+ Sorcerer Passholders.

Yeah. If anything, I could see doing an RSP for just the Sorcerers. And then, maybe, if there is enough left, letting other folks RSP it a couple of days later. Or, if hardly anything left, just sell that in the store so the first handful of people get them and then that's it. Or use them in blind bags at some future event, etc.

My guess is only the sorcerer ticket holders get RSPs for D23 2019.

I am keeping an eye out if Destination D continues doing RSPs. If they do, I will be heading there in 2022 :D

Is there any planned trading going on for the event? Trying to decide if I should take my pins with me or not...

There is usually no planned/scheduled pin trading at Destination D. There might be informal pin trading during breaks. There is really no extra time. Most of my pin trades were pre-trades that were arranged prior to coming to Orlando.

Sorry, I should have been clearer. I know there's not official pin trading. I meant any already-planned trader-run events, like at the hotels.

Hi! Both local Orlando pin meets (CFDPC & MousePinTraders.com) are the weekend before (Nov. 10th) so that they can go to Destination D too.

Probably just as well...our community is doing a garage sale on Saturday, so I'll only be at the event on Friday and Sunday anyways. Not much time to do anything else.

I do wish Pinpics would approve the pins that are getting released at the event and get them up so we can arrange pre-trades. Having them listed would make life easier.

Well, early pin pick-up at the D23 Event is tomorrow Friday 11/16. Should be interesting to see if they actually hold true to the statement that there will be no pins at the MOG store. Will see if they have pins/framed sets/surprise releases at the pick-up area but not actually in the store. Will report back tomorrow.

I agree. It should be at interesting morning with the VIP AP merchandise event at the Magic Kingdom starting at 7:30 am! Then the WDI pin pickup at 9 am in the Contemporary. I still can't imagine MoG not selling their surplus pins/framed sets/surprise releases/mystery begs here at Destination D. It will be interesting to see if they have a surprise Mickey's birthday pin, like last year.

So I’m a Mouseketeer for this one and I picked up my pins. The Star Wars ones are heavy and MUCH nicer than the concept art photos.

There are NO framed sets. No extra pins. There are gift with purchase Mickey and Minnie pins if you buy plush and that’s it besides the RSP. I was surprised too.
