As you may have seen in the other sales thread, a longtime friend and collector (ImagineEpcot) has decided to downsize her traders and I'm helping her by posting some sales.

This thread will be for her Disney Auctions, DA P.I.N.S. and DisneyShopping pins. She did a lot of shopping on these sites back in the day!

Pins are being offered at the sales price listed, but she will consider offers as well. Shipping will be $7 for insured priority mail shipping up to a $50 value. Shipping will be $10 for insured priority mail shipping up to a $100 value. Higher values will be calculated based on added insurance cost. (If you're only buying one pin at a $10-$15 value or less, we can provide a lower shipping cost as well.)

Shipping is only to confirmed addresses with PayPal payment within the U.S. No international sales, sorry!

She ships once a week and when your package goes out, either she or I will notify you.

Editing to add: on some sales, we may reserve the right to sell to known members of the forum with feedback here already rather than new members, just FYI, as she would like these pins to go to collections, not to resell on ebay or social media!

And yes, as a longtime collector I can say with confidence that there have never been greater pins created by Disney than the Disney Auction pins - especially the LE100's, and the Masterpiece series in particular. Nothing can touch the quality, weight, artwork on DA pins. I'm a fan of a lot of different Disney pins, but DA were a totally unique level and nothing else comes close. Even with flaws. lol
 
Don't know if those are noticeable in person or just in a closeup photo. Either way the pin as noted has flaws.

Nice! Would love to add this pin to my collection, it's one of my Grails. (But cannot even come close to offering the asking price.)

I love the artwork on all the Masterpiece pins but this one is especially sweet and I love the original painting it's based on.

We came up with the asking price point of $600 because when we did our price research, there's one (presumably unflawed but not sure if they took the close up pics like we put here) on eBay asking for $800 and as mentioned my friend's has the pin prick flaws in it. However, as the Masterpiece series has been faked and my friend bought hers directly from Disney back in the day, we felt that a guaranteed authentic, if flawed, version, still held good value vs. a pin with no known history or provenance that may have passed through many hands over the years, assuming it is real.

With that said, because of the flaws she is open to offers from folks who may be interested in the peace of mind of knowing they have an authentic DA Masterpiece pin. :)

Fake masterpieces are definitely out there but I don't remember any of the fakes being from that last series. I have 3 from that particular set (not Mickey) and they don't come up all that often. I'd look at sold items as a comp, if you need one.
