Yes, he contacted me through pinpics, and we could have shipped, but we ended up meeting and trading in person at a DSSH event. He traded me my first WDI pin ever and one of my earliest grails. He seemed very nice. :)

I have an AP Fantasmic pin that he wants. He messaged me, but his pins were all lower LEs than the pin he wanted. Thanks. :D

Anyone traded with Msmagic on pinpics?

I had a confirmed trade with that member a bit ago, sent my pin out, and she determined that there was a scratch on it and sent it back to me. I guess my eye wasn't as good as hers because for the life of me, I couldn't see anything. Hopefully your pin is flawless under the microscope XD.

Did you send hers back?

This was the feeling I got from my communication with this trader. Very particular. It was probably the primary reason I declined the trade.

Well, I feel extra lucky now. I completed a trade with MsMagic in November and had a different experience. I contacted her about a trade. We messaged back and forth several times before agreeing on the trade. She did have me send her the pin first, as well; but I thought that was a special case.

The pin I sent her did have a small smudge on metal from the manufacturer. She was very understanding about it when I pointed it out in the pictures when we were in communication. She did wait to send her pin out after she checked out my pin.

I guess we all catch traders in different moods sometimes.

You were smart. I just completed a trade with MsMagic and it was not magical. I received an email chastising me for my “lack of truthfulness” bc one of the pins I sent “was not on the original card”. The thing is: it *is* on its original card! Fortunately I took a photo before I sent it but then I thought I may have messed up and I did a google search— nope, card is correct. I attached pics— the one on the carpet with the LATT is the one I sent and the other is the google search I just did to verify it was correct.

She said normally she would insist on reversing the trade but the pin is for a friend who would be disappointed not to get it so it’s ok ‘this time.’ And ironically one of the pins she sent me was a bit— worn, I guess. I’m not really picky I just happened to think she had a lot of chutzpah insisting on perfection when what she was sending me was rather lackluster.

That was very audacious of her.

Ugh, I think I will veer away from MsMagic.

I just traded with Olascards and she was very nice and easy to trade with. (I actually traded with her in 2015 as well.)

I've traded with a number of awesome, fair traders on PinPics this month (thanks in part to the recommendations on this thread!):

- kswiz
- Peroxidepest17
- paulettelb
- FloridaBound
- deldoesdisney
- carpentrygod

January 2019 Pinpics trade recommendations.
Traded with these fine folks and would trade again.

I think it's Jilagow, with an "o" and she's nice.
nhardman hasn't responded to my trade offers.
