Thanks for the kind words, I'll be trying tonight. I'm REALLY nervous about Ariel....I will be devastated if I don't get her. Hopefully all of us who didn't get belle at the store can get her online tonight

I am nervous too. Last night we had a Disney Store link angel help us out. A lot of collectors got dolls before most people could even find her on the site. I'll be pulling for you. Oh and I am crazy nervous about Ariel. She is like the perfect doll!

I'm not too bummed that I may not get Belle or Ariel. I mean, I should be so happy I've managed to get as many of these dolls as I have. Don't get me wrong, I'm going to try my best tonight, and I feel pretty confident. Ariel and Eric, on the other hand, make me a little more uneasy. Then again, these are just dolls that I collect to bring me joy, not stress, so I'm not going to be too devastated if I can't have all of them.
 
I think the turn out at the stores was due to a lot of people trying to get Eric and Ursula. Also, think about the people who came to pick up their Ariel doll and probably decided to stay and try their luck with BatB couple doll set. I think she'll be online for quite awhile; enough time to get your order in. I doubt it will be like the chaos we endured this morning, by the way a BIG THANK YOU to who ever posted the links to Eric and Ursula. Without you, we collectors would never had a chance. I CANNOT wait to see pictures of Belle and the Beast that you guys will post. I was only going for Ariel & Eric, but Belle's face is really selling me.
 
Missed out on Belle/Beast. I have to just try online I guess. I can not get up at 3AM though. Just hope there are some left when I do wake up around 6. I hopefully can make the raffle for Ariel in two weeks, and hopefully will be able to get her. This is really frustrating.
 
Here are some quick pictures I took of Belle and the Beast. I'll take nicer ones tomorrow. Today was madness. There were at least 40 people there and I was by myself. My store had 14 dolls and I got called with 5 left. Very nerve racking haha. But I am so thankful and happy to have my favorite set. Enjoy!


 
AAahhhh! My store had about 15 dolls and more than 30-ish people showed up. So nervous!!! We were one of the first ones to get called and I nearly peed my pants. LOL!! I'm so happy I was able to get them!! :hsd:
 
I was extremely fortunate and was able to snag one of the Belle and Beast sets--my family is being extremely wonderful since I'm away at college and the closest Disney store is about two or three hours away. They said that there was literally just enough sets of dolls for everyone. They tried for Ursula and Eric, but they were not successful. Oh well. I'm too happy about Belle and Beast to be upset right now!
 
Congrats to all who got them! They truly are gorgeous ! The details on belle's dress is exquisite. I loved being able to see them in person. If the resale price isn't too bad maybe I'll be able to get them one day.
 
My store was PACKED for Belle and Beast....there was like 60 people there and 23 dolls. Ariel and Eric are going to be insane....I have to recruit extra people to tag along with me for those two!!!
 
I'm so very lucky -- got Ursula and Eric this morning on line and my sweet husband spent his day off camping out at the DS and got called last for the B&B set!!!!! Soooo happy!!! Will have all 3 LE dolls and *fingers crossed* I will have all 5 couples!
 
So I am not nearly as nervous as I was last night, but maybe it will get worse later. Hey Polaris, do you have any more sell-out calculation rates? I really enjoyed the one you did.
 
Our store had 22 dolls. 33 names were in the drawing but lots were people trying to up their chances... in the end, only 1 person didn't get their doll. It was kind of sad, but a store nearby had 5 left after their raffle so we sent her that way... hopefully she got it.

Today made me really nervous. I predict that Oct. 15 will be hell for Ariel and Eric as they are by far the most coveted of the bunch. A lady walked in today and announced she was NOT leaving without a doll, no matter what happened. I got scared. LOL.

Today was nerve wracking! Before it was very easy to get a doll, with everyone's names being called. Today there were 7 dolls, and maybe 20+ people. My friend went with me to help my chances, and she was called first! She had the first name as another girl who entered, and the other girl got catty until the manager cleared it up with the last name. GAH! Ariel is going to be crazy D:
 
Tensions are definitely high! People are getting more and more crazy, Ariel will defintely be the worst
 
yeah, some people show their true colors during these events:/ I saw so many people getting upset like spoiled children...... I was happy for some of the people that were really genuine in their excitement for the doll without being so rotten looking. A few of the people looked so silly going from the yuck face to a smile after being called. I know for myself, I was disappointed that I didn't get called but now, that time has passed I'm fine. It's just a doll, right? I have a lot to be thankful for and seeing those grown adults acting like spoiled children showed me, that if I ever allow myself to get like that, it's time to stop collecting and eat some humble pie! One older woman was so mad she went off stomping and threw her ticket:nono:
 

Yikes! It's normal to be upset, If I were not to get Ariel, I admit I would probably cry because she means so much to me, but their is a difference from disappointment & sadness to rude and nasty. I am crossing my fingers that everyone who will appreciate her gets her on the 15th. Pixies! :x:
 

wow! that's so embarrassing for her to walk out of the store like that.
 
I looked Eric and Ursula at 12:00 this morning (CA time), but their pictures flashed and were gone. So I "searched" for Eric and Ursula and found them that way. I could've tried for more at the store today, but I wanted to let someone else have a chance.

I didn't get picked at the local store for BatB (rats!), but the manager was soooooo great! She sent out an email to other stores, found one that had a set, and got me on the phone with them to have it shipped to me!

that's great! i didn't know they were willing to ship out limited edition items. i guess it depends on who you talk to
 

I will probably cry if I don't get Ariel but I will also be online ready to buy her if that is the case. I will stay up until 3 in the morning to order her on the 16th if need be. Ariel means the world to me and has been my favorite character since I was a child. I still adore Ariel to this day and will be heartbroken if I cannot get her.
 
So the forum is pretty quiet tonight. Did most of you guys get the Beaut and the Beast set today? Are other people waiting up with me for the online release? So far I have appreciated the calm of online purchasing for this designer set. I think that Belle will be gone day one, but not nearly as fast as Ursula and Eric. What do you guys think?
 
I will be up for a bit to see how it goes. I hope everyone that wants BatB are able to get it with little to no problems. I think they may sell out quick but maybe not as fast as Ursula and Eric. I think the record for this series so far is 3 or 4 days for Jasmine and Aladdin? Anyways, good luck everyone!
