My lovely friends went to the store to try to get me a Belle and Beast. One of them forgot their ID, so even though there were 2 of them, only 1 ballot. She was texting me, worried because of how many people were there. 48 people put their name in the draw for the 18 dolls. Luckily my friend was called first!! Woo!!! The same awesome friends are going to try for Ariel and Eric for me, the CM said they were expecting at least 60 people to show up for the 18 dolls, eek! Not good odds.
 
I'll be staying up for the set. I don't think there'll be much action in here for another couple hours, though. That's the time we'll be coming back looking for direct links, sad to admit. But at least you know you're not alone! Good luck to everyone. I think this will be the last set that won't be nearly impossible to get online. Ariel is probably going to sell out in moments. At my local DS, all the people there were only there for BatB; they weren't there earlier for Ariel or Eric and Ursula. The momentum has just picked up. But it's been pretty good thus far, right?
 
- SOO! I'm finally off from work & boy am I so tired! From the very beginning when I woke up at 5:30 to the moment I'm about to go home right now ... Which is 10:34pm right now. Let me just say how smooth it was when I got to my mall at 7:50am. Only 3 people were there & I was thinking phew! What a relief! Then this other guy came in just 10 mins right after me & I was so happy to meet a first Disney doll collector. Even though he said most of was for his daughter, he loved collecting all the cool LE Disney store dolls & more! Then a couple of more people came & then it was the opening ceremony. Like it was very nice & organized for the Ariel pick-up to getting Ursula & Prince Eric. Now when it came to the Designer Fairytale Belle/Beast, geeez was there a lot of people. A total of 62 was in the raffle & only 16 pairs were up for grabs! Most of the people who got called looked like genuine Beauty and the beast fanatics. Then were some older men who had the most serious & non emotional expression when their names got called. I mean I'm not saying they were scalpers but they looked dead on eBay sellers. Overall, I didn't get my DFDC Belle/Beast for my gf as planned & I'm hoping it might be online till Friday but I highly doubt. But I'm sooo grateful to be able to get the mermaid trio! Pictures will be up tonight!
 

By far the greatest line I've heard. It makes sense, there's no point in a collecting hobby if it adds stress and turns negative.
 
It is hard staying up so late 2 nights in a row! My body isn't as resilient as it used to be. Life was so much easier when you could get the FD dolls in the store.

I definitely agree. Last night was okay, but I was up early this morning and I am dragging. If I thought I'd wake up on time I'd go to sleep, but just my luck I would wake up one minute too late!

My thoughts exactly. I'm so tired, that I think it would be smarter for me just to stay up instead of chancing it.
 
Not near as many "visitors" on this thread tonight as there were last night on the 17" thread when Ursula and Eric went live. I hope this is a sign that perhaps it won't be completely nuts when the Belle/Beast go live.

Thanks for pointing that out. Only 20 people on here. It'll be fun to see how many show up. After hearing the reports today, I am expecting a lot of competition tonight. If there isn't much that would be great!
 
My husband was sent home Tuesday due to the government shut down, so I wasn't expecting him home until his usual Thursday night arrival. He stays in an apartment in Northern Va during the week. Instead of putting on the alarm, I just stayed awake for the last few hours and just crept out of bed so as not to disturb him.

Oh, I finally received my Ariel the other day. She is gorgeous, but the girl has so much product in her hair that I am afraid that if I lit a match, the house would go up in flames. :lol:

mmm, "There are currently 34 users browsing this thread. (27 members and 7 guests)". Not as chaotic as yesterday. I remember when Ursula and Eric were about to come out, we were close to the 200 lol. It looks we will get out Belle and Beast easily . Good luck to everybody! And who ever finds out the link, please post it, just like with the other releases, it would really be appreciatted . Thanks!
 
Bought her and received my confirmation email a minute later! Thank you Home741! I'm surprised how easy and fast these LE dolls transcactions have been. Only Ariel and Eric to go and we are done!!! Good night everybody!
