Oh, I just used a GC for part of the order I made tonight. It did have a hiccup at the payment section until I switched back to the CC section and entered my password in that section, too. I was able to place the order after that. The initial receipt screen shows the GC and my CC, but right now in the website order summary in the My Account section as well as my e-mail receipt do not show the GC at all... Fingers crossed that the GC does get applied, if not I'll have to complain.
 

It only let me "proceed" because I use my Disney Visa (I only had $40 on the redemption). However, it does not show anything in my order summary also.

Hey, to those of you asking if the stands are removable, if they are anything like the designer villains, they are screwed in. So, pulling won't work, you have to twist the stand.
(When I got my Mother Gothel, her, her lid, and her stand wasn't even attached to the base. That's how I found out. Slight heart attack, but all was fine. The plastic packaging and her own two feet are holding her up nicely.)
 
My Rapunzel came today! I love her she is so stunning! I have pulled he braid to the front and tilted her head slightly and she looks much better! I don't no what to do about Flynn! On the shelf you cannot see him at all but I'm scared of removing all the plastic etc to be able to move him:/. Overall though Rapunzel and Flynn are stunning just bad positioning of Flynn! I never thought I'd say this but I prefer my Snow White set!
 
I hope rose valentine got his Rapunzel. The cm from the disney store tried to call him this morning , because the paris 's store recieved their doll already and they took the phone number and name of everybody who wanted them to book her for the day. But the cm told me, his phone number didn't work. I let him a pm here . I hope he 'll get it.

So here is a first picture of my rapunzel, still not fully deboxed, i have a lot of work. Thank you for the advice about the corset. I'll be careful.

I have to change her hair, i hate that short thing. It's even worse than i thought it would be.

 
Haha, I love how we're all trying to hide those annoying bangs. I'll never understand how they made it into the design. Luckily the case on my Rapunzel set pops on and off so easily. The backing slides into all the clips and everything.

My store got 12 dolls and about 16 people showed up for them. I brought my boyfriend to double my chances of getting her, and we (well, he) were called 2nd. I plan to call all my other local stores later today to see how their raffles went. I think I might have to drive to a more obscure location for the rest of the releases. Too many scalpers at the store I tried yesterday.

The tower in hausofde-vil's photo is a disneystore sculpture and it's a limited edition of 1200. It originally retailed for about $50 but now it's on ebay for about $200 or more, although sometimes you can get lucky. I think it's made of resin and handpainted.... I'd have to dig out the box.
 
The bang is really bothering me too. This might be the first doll set I open up to fix. I want to tuck that bang away so it looks like it is one length...and I might even put her braid in front.
 
If you tuck the bang up and under the white flower in her hair, then it looks all one length and the flower holds it in place it's easy to do! I have just deboxed Flynn! Never deboxed any of my designer dolls before but I had to debox him, I couldn't even see him on my self! He's such a well made doll! Once I removed all the plastic holding him in, I put Him back on his stand. Because I centred him more the clip (on the stand)will not go around his waist, but it will go around him sideways( this holds him!) so now he is centred and you can see his face! And I put his arm up to the lantern too- looks so cute now!
 

I just forwarded your message to him via facebook! I believe he was in Versailles at least 2 hours ago. I also hope he is able to get a doll set, because this is the only one from the collection that he wants. Thanks for the heads-up!

OH MY GOSH! So cute! I'm bummed now I never picked up one of those Park Rapunzel's for that cute Pascal!
 

I have been dealing with ds.com on this very issue. I thought my g/c were working too but then I kept getting charged the full amount on my cc. What you have to do is put in your cc info on the cc tab and on the g/c tab you have to put both your g/c # and cc# - so basically you have to enter your cc # twice. It's totally messed up you should never have to put your cc in twice! Or like I told the CM who finally explained how to get it to work would it be so hard for Disney to put a blurb on the checkout page explaining this!
 


So I should try putting my CC in twice to use the GC?
 
thank you ^^ I'll take others picture outisde from the box tomorrow. I'm a bit tired today after trying every angles ... Because of that box!
