2014 Designer Fairies Collection
I hope Periwinkle is going to be in this, because shes one of my favorite, and i'd for sure want her. Probably only her to be honest.
I'm very surprised they decided to do fairies because I didn't think they were that popular with collectors but, i'm not complaining cause they
are very pretty. Maybe more surprises means they will do more different things, and not just stick to the same ol' princesses each year.

I think its shiny to maker her look like she is glowing and/or sparkly due to her pixie dust. I am sure she will look a lot better in person as most of the dolls do.
 
Just to preface this, I do not think these are our only Designer dolls this year, I'm still confident that something else will come out later in the year. The reason being, it seems (so far) that these are the only 2 fairies in this "Designer Fairies" line which make sense. I mean, Tinker Bell will do well, the rest of them will do badly, it's just the truth. The more they add into this line, the worse it's going to get. So already I'm expecting a very small lineup. However, my number one reason why I'm pretty sure this is NOT the Designer line for this year: timing. Every single year the new dolls get released at the VERY end of the year (starting around August or so is when things start to pick up speed). So how is it possible that it's only January and we don't even have concept art, we have the actual dolls?!?!? WHAT?!??! Something just don't make sense with the timing.

I think Disney wanted to do Designer Fairies and I commend them on that, but I don't think they're going to replace anything else, ESPECIALLY considering so many Disneystore managers were reporting that a DFDC2 line was in the works as of last August. There is no way those plans got scrapped, Designer Fairies were thought up, concept art made, dolls prototyped, and now dolls are fully made within a matter of 5 months.

Honestly, no. I think these, even with a moderately low LE size of 4000 will last for a few days. If Zarina even does well at all call me shocked. Disney faries besides Tinker Bell just don't sell that well, I mean, the villains are for the most part much more popular than some of the fairies are and they took a long time to sell out (given they are MUCH higher LE size, but still).
 
I can't see Disney wasting a entire line for just two dolls.. if they only wanted to release two they would have just added them to the 17'' Doll Line I think we will be seeing the main fairies along with Vidia and Periwinkle since the edition size is so low, i believe they will sell
 
Especially due to the edition size of only 4000 from what I gather Vidia, Silvermist, and Tink will be the hardest ones to get that is if those dolls are confirmed everyone seems to be anticipating them.. I hope Disney has some kind of Preorder system that will save a few people from the craze, and the website constantly crashing :sad:
 
Tinkerbell and periwinkle would be the two I'd really want. I'd get silvermist if she looks nice enough. But tinkerbell is for sure just because I love Peter Pan and her own personal movies are cute to me.
 
Well, I'm not going to fight with any to get these dolls. They're all yours XD
I want my princesses. Especially new fairytale couples!
 
I am very excited for them!!!!! I think Tink is so gorgeous!!! They are probably being released due to the new Pirate Fairy film coming out in a couple of months. I don't know if all the fairies are going to be released at once, maybe this will be a test to see how well these 2 do. I do believe that there will still be a designer couples part 2 line, later in the year. These doll are a major cash cow for disney so maybe these are similar to the limited 17 dolls that are released with films.

No announcement so far, but people seems to be guessing around April, due to the fairy movie being released around that time.
 
I am also hoping for Periwinkle, as she is my favorite fairy, and because she's Tinker Bell's sister. I will probably try to get Tink, and I'm apparently drawn to the whole "sisters" thing, so I've got my fingers crossed. :x:
 
It is just a two part collection Seen as you in America can pick her up in February when will us in the Uk get them? And also if they are $60 will we pay the equivalent in pounds or have to pay £60?
 
Oh wow I love Tink so much more after seeing the promo pics! Can't wait to get her!

They will be £50 in the UK and available on February 18th
