I just saw this, too! So... how does it work when you buy something online? Is there like a "waiting room" like for concert tickets or you just keep refreshing until it works? I saw in the comments how people are already potentially thinking of bamboozling this process! T__T

No, online releases just increases the abilities of re-sellers - this way from around the world instead of just locals - to get their hands on the pins.

I still prefer WDI's method the best - in person sales first, then online 48 hours later if they don't sell out.
 

Are WDI pins open to the public or only CMs?

WDI should go back to online first then in store #bitter XD
CA flippers still get their CM buddies to buy for them and charge high prices. At least the 1pp rule is back and some of the good stuff makes it online.

I just hope someone from DPF gets something. I've seen releases like this before (from the Disney Store, not DSSH admittedly) where the link was leaked and the pins were sold out before the site went live.
