I bought the Pooh marquee today (my first marquee!) with the plan to save it as a trader for docfish's event in May. However, there are a lot of details that I really like!! Esp the embossed bees and pots of hunny in the green background!

What do?

I'm curious to find out if anyone went to the store raffle today and how it went. This was the first time I went to one of those things and one of the CM's told me it was the first they would have to raffle the pins. Needless to say there were a lot of angry people. Out of curiosity which pin in this set is causing so much interest?
 
Hmm, it's obviously picking up more interest and awareness, since it's true, they haven't had to do the raffle a lot, at least for my store. (Then again, I only went for weeks 3 and 4.)

I think it's both Enchanted and WALL-E. Both are pretty popular. Sometimes I wonder if I'm making a mistake not buying any of these sets to use as traders, but ah, well.

Really? Our CM stopped the raffle halfway because there were more than enough pins. It's the first time I've seen them do that. Weird...

But I would say Enchanted is Probably the causing the most buzz.

So, how does the raffle thing work then? I assume it's something that only happens in the US stores..? Not seen Enchanted - would have thought it would have been Wall-e causing the buzz.
 
Our store they didn't raffle the first two weeks but after that we had enough people show up that they raffled because we have been getting the exact number of people for pin sets +/- 1 or 2 every week.
 
The store I went to had 13 sets. There were probably 30 people that showed up. I know quite a few people came in groups which is probably what caused the tension. While I did bring an extra person I only wanted 1 set. A group of 4 came in last minute and 3 of them were picked and they kept all the sets. I don't think I will do in-store anymore. I felt like I had to justify myself and after my name was picked and paid for the pins going through the crowd of angry people turned me off.

I wouldn't consider store raffles a pleasant experience.
 
The Disney Store pin sets Week 6 and 7 are still available on the website as of now.

I agree with you PXV, I don't like raffles or lotteries. Luckily my store always has always had enough sets for everyone that shows up in the beginning.

Finally a DSF release I'm looking forward too , I managed to get the Evil Queen one from the last series and I'm hoping these will be as nice in person

Yeah I'm hankering for all of them except Tremaine, tbh. Though if I got her I wouldn't be mad. XD

And I wouldn't be surprised. Or a Horned King. Or maybe even Yokai (WHO DOES NOT GET ENOUGH LOVE I TELLS YA).

Chernabog too. But I can see the Horned King. Seems like Yokai would be tough, since his back wouldn't be too impressive.

Oh, yep, Chernabog too. And that's true.. though they could spruce it up with NANOBOTS. o: (I just really like Yokai don't mind me XD)
 
While we're talking villains, I'd love Si & Am. They'd look cute from behind (perhaps with a fish bowl or bird cage??)...
