2017 Pin Releases

Can confirm they are in California. They are only being sold at Katz in DCA. They were letting people buy ten boxes per person.

I got six boxes and got a chaser in most/all of them (can't remember if my last box had one or not). I think I only got one duplicate, too.
 

Dang, none at Downtown Disney?? Is there a way to get them from Katz without going into the park? (No AP here)
 

That's awesome! I saw 17 boxes opened between me, Merlin, and my friend I was with and no chasers. If I had known the chasers were sepia, I would have stopped after the first 3 I bought.

I also saw the last Salacious Crum pin you needed at the pin trader table, but I didn't have anything they wanted.

Gosh darn it, should have read this before I drove all the way to Disney. Now I'm in downtown Disney, and can't buy any boxes! Bleh.
 
No way to buy from Katz without going into DCA.

Someone posted on Facebook that the boxes in DCA were sold out as of 2pm. It was just one person's post, though, so I'm not sure if they actually are or whether or not they'll be restocked later today or at a later date (like the alphabet pin boxes were released on multiple days).

I wonder how they decided which movies to include. I also wonder if they'll release a Pixar set later in the year, like they did with the alphabet sets.

Oh, I could definitely find pins I want, but pins I need (for my collection, not, like, to live... obviously) are few and far between lately. I want Disney to make me cry. You know, like they do to Merlin.

I wish I could say I only collect *insert collection here* and just not collect anything else but I just can't help myself!
