2017 Pin Releases
You are my hero when it comes to discipline in pin collecting.

I wish I could say I only collect *insert collection here* and just not collect anything else but I just can't help myself!

I've never been a collection person. My parents were packrats, so I rebelled by never having much stuff. The fact that I have as many pins as I do says a lot about how much I love them.

(And books. So many books. Where did they all come from? I swear I hardly ever buy books and yet they're everywhere. I think they multiply when I'm not looking.)

Very jealous of your discipline SiuJerkJai, my parents are packrats and I'm afraid I've inherited it rather than rebelled against. I collect too much to display nicely, now it's just being stored which is kind of sad but not enough to make me want to let it go. lol

Oh, I could definitely find pins I want, but pins I need (for my collection, not, like, to live... obviously) are few and far between lately. I want Disney to make me cry. You know, like they do to Merlin.

This. Many many times this. And especially since we're in the middle of the house buying process, I have to really define NEED for pins to be worth it. Cone-of-Shame Dug was the last one to hit this mark.

Story of my life, too! I have a lot of everything. I look forward to the day I have my own home instead of just a room so I can have all my books on nice shelves, all my lava lamps out and bubbling, all my pins in nice displays, and not have my other collections' storage (like AG dolls) take up all the floor space.

And not have TsumTsums attack me in the middle of the night.

Since I work from home, I am so, so lucky to have my own office in our house (well, it's also the guest room but close enough). Affordable housing is definitely one of the perks of living in small-town Wisconsin. I plan to spruce it up this summer and add some Disney touches. It's the perfect place to display my pins and nice books. And not only does my husband not mind, he wants me to do it! He says he likes the idea of having a Disney room.

Okay...green with envy now.

Did they sell out of this series in wdw too? I found out they only released in one spot in dca and sold out in like an hour.

Okay cool. If you could let me know I'd really like to get some.

If you'd like for me to. Grab some, go put a request in on my thread if you don't mind. That way I won't accidentally forget. XD

Someone at Epcot last night was saying that they had Wishes pins for sale in Magic Kingdom in Fantasyland. Anyone know if there's any truth to that?

And here I thought I would be spared the Pandora pin curse... So much for that....

Does anyone else think this looks more like an Egyptian artifact? When I see this pin, my mind does not automatically think "Avatar" or "Pandora" LOL.

I also can't stop seeing "Boo" sitting in the creature's lap. :eek2:

It's like they smashed some Egyptian, Hindu and Buddhist imagery together...and I'm not sure how I feel about that.

Would it make you feel better to hear that someone else doesn't care for the pin? I can also see where you're coming from, and perhaps it's intentional on the pin's part?

I didn't care for the Avatar movie and I don't think I'm going to have any interest in the pins. I hope the Avatarland is more entertaining.

I really liked Avatar the movie, and the indigenous population were very spiritual, so I can understand why that approach was taken with the pin's design, but I agree, I'm not sure how I feel about that particular pin, I want it, but at the same time I dont! haha strange!

The princess shields came out very nice, I am going to have to pretend I didn't see them!
