I know, it's an amazing surprise. And two Pedro pins in the same month! Disney is losing their minds! Did they forget it's supposed to be all Princesses all the time? But I'm happy for you.

But yeah, those that don't remember when Who Framed Roger Rabbit came out, it was a VERY big deal that they had gotten permission to use cartoon characters from the various studios. And so there were a lot of cameos, including other Disney characters.

What you hadn't watched Bedknobs and Broomsticks a bazillion times by then? I'm sure Disney Channel also showed Mary Poppins, but I remember watching Bedknobs & Broomsticks A LOT. Also, their D-TV musical segments used the Zip-a-dee-doo-dah segment from Song of the South a ton too. That I remember wondering, where the heck it came from. They also played Purple People Eater a lot in between shows, and one of the reasons I like Sword in the Stone, because the image I have is Mim Rhino.
 

We didn't have cable and our only human-cartoon overlap movie on VHS was Three Caballeros, which wasn't as impressive as B&B or Mary Poppins. But even those didn't have the level of interaction that Roger Rabbit did. When the camera panned out from the Baby Herman cartoon to the studio, Li'l Kim's brain exploded.

They should have a set of their own, and then there will be another shared set, usually called Happy Haunts, or something like that.

I think the DLR ones are called Trick or Treat this year, and are Hinged Doorways with the Villains. I know Jafar, Hades, and Ursula feature. I don't remember the 4th one.
