Hold the Flippin phone. The Once Upon a Time set is DLR exclusive!?
That really surprised me as well! And also the fact that they included the same Ariel pic twice instead of showing the bride version lol.
+that Jiminy Cricket on a seahorse is way too adorable! I love it so much. Can't wait to see pictures of the real pin!

Can anyone explain to me how the Once Upon a Time pins work physically? I was thinking it was basically a hinged pin-on-pin that flips over but then I would expect both sides to change and Ariel doesn't. Which, btw, makes her look very oddly afraid of/disgusted by Eric.

Ah, good, January's gonna be quiet for me. :3

Good, then I won't have to worry about getting that LE25!

Someone goofed on that Little Mermaid pin image. Ariel looks terrified by Eric!

OK, I was wondering this too. Could it be a spinner? It looks more like it's hinged, but the art doesn't make sense. Unless we have a case of Sloppy Preview Art and the Ariel with Eric SHOULD look different ...

It does, the image is just goofed up. On the actual pin the Eric side is Ariel in her wedding dress. You can see images on page 1 of this thread.

The main pin is round and there is an extra half-circle hinged part in the center that flips back and forth. On each side of the extra half-circle part is a different image that combines with the main pin part to create two different full-circled scenes.

Better than to have Ariel marrying Ursula, I guess lol? Now that I think of it, maaaybe it was done to show that you can combine each side... But in this case, they should show all four variants to get the message across.

I'm going to start a new support group for people who collect less-popular subjects so that we can treat our PFL (post-flyer letdown syndrome).
This is too true for me with the DLP flyers, because like you all surely noticed, they like to release several pins for a seemingly random movie each month. Like the Stitch pins in October & December and The Little Mermaid ones in January.

It's pretty much impossible to even hope for say, Pocahontas... But I'd like a Pinocchio OE set, or Peter Pan or something.

You'll get plenty of Peter Pan this year! It's the 65th anniversary. I'd guess closer to summer, but the Disney Store has already started releasing other merchandise, like plushes. So keep your eyes peeled!!!!!

Oh, you're so right lol! I just absent-mindedly typed what I was usually hoping for. I'd ask what you're guys usually hoping for but I guess that would be derailing the thread... So I'm gonna add that I really love the poster they used for the Lady & Tramp Lunch Time Tales. Such a great illustration!

So a little birdie told me that the MOG heroine pins will release January 8th. They're LE 250. If anyone knows of how I can snag a Tink I will love you forever.
