2019 PTD Discussion Thread...new PTDs 12/3/19

Posted to the DSF Facebook page:

"Due to unforeseen circumstances, the fountain will be closed for the remainder of the day. All ice cream, beverages, and other food items will not be available until further notice. The store will remain open for all merchandise shopping. We will provide an update when we can resume business as normal. We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused."

Someone said they tried but they wouldn't let them order a PTD and just get the pin with no ice cream.

So guess I'm heading over tomorrow evening and hoping Tala doesn't sell out during the day.

Oh man, that’s unforeseen good news for me! I’ll try tomorrow too! I was planning to go to Disneyland but staying around la to do other errands will actually work out

Maybe they shut down for the Shazam world premiere, and didn't want to advertise for it, because it's a WB/DC property.

Edit: NVM, I see now that it wasn't a total shut down, just not serving ice cream products.

Yep, it was just the food products; they stayed open for merchandise sales. Which makes me think either it was a food health/safety issue or something like the plumbing issues they had awhile ago. If it was the Shazam premiere they most likely would have said that was the reason and closed the whole store.
 
"Store Update: Thank you for your patience. We are happy to announce that the store and fountain will open as normal at 10am today."
 
I'm really hoping the flip happens on Wednesday; I've taken a half day and will be home starting in the early afternoon. I have a very strong suspicion that Rescue Rangers Dale will be in this next batch.

If he is, and if it flips on Thursday after I've gone out of town I'm interested in trading for/buying him if anyone here is able to grab a spare.
 
Ugh, I visited parents this weekend only to accidentally leave the PTD vouchers at their house. I asked my mom to mail them to me but I probably won’t get them until tomorrow, which means I can probably get them tomorrow night or during my lunch on Wednesday.
