PIN HAUL 2025 Mail Days Megathread

The original thread was posted in 2021 and is 55 pages long. So as part of some housekeeping I am retiring the original thread and we will be posting yearly threads in the future. Hopefully, a new year, a new thread will re-energize posting in this thread. I have some pin mail with a scheduled delivery on Saturday, that I am really excited about sharing.

In case people didn't know, due to forum modifications you don't have to host your photos on another site to reply to this thread! All you have to do is click the "Insert Image" button (the little box showing a mountain) and it will bring up a tool that you can use to select a photo from your computer or from your phone's photo library. The image will be uploaded and stored on the DPF server. I'll post some images with instructions in the next post (won't get done today, though!)

And of particular interest to @Captain Fartbeard , I think. My Chandu collection is almost complete, I only need the WDI Sorcerer Hat. I didn't even know this poster pin existed until last year, and I thought I would have no chance at finding one. Then one popped up on Ebay with a $25 opening bid, and no one else bid! So not only did I find one, I didn't have to sell my soul to get it.

AAHHHHHHH $25?? Good thing I didn’t find it, otherwise I 100% would have started a bidding war. Crazy cool find! Definitely a grail for sure

Got my first CA package of the year with several goodies.

Last of the parades. I thought this was a nice set. Glad I was able to finish it.



Had gotten lucky on this release. Not lucky enough to get the marquee of course. But still. Problem is, I’m not sure I like them. I’ll wait to see the movie before I decide what to do with them but they may end up in my trade bag.



And an addition to my slow but growing Humphrey collection.

My first pinmail of the year arrived in the mail. I did a partial trade/sale to someone on Facebook. Sadness and the skeeball are for my Inside Out collection; Go Go is for trade.

I would love to see everyone's non-Disney pin collections! Where would be a good place to have a post like that?

I'm going to take a wide swing here and say everyone who is collecting this series isn't "done" just yet. Since there really isn't a caboose or engine pin to this series (from what I've seen) there could always be the possibility that hidden completers will come out for one of the pin events this year. My money is during the mini DL event w/ a corresponding drop at WDW the same week. I've been loving how this set looks and regret not going after them. Congrats to you for keeping up with it!! I love seeing the details.

I had wondered about an engine and caboose for this set! I'll be watching to see if something comes out at the event.

So in spring of 2024, I started getting serious about Japanese pin hunting. I had bought some stuff from a Facebook group, but I figured out how to cut out the middleman. So for 2025, I want to get a box a month (and cut back on PALM / Loungefly pins to compensate). So here’s my January box!

I LOVE the Chandu ball!! Where do you get those from? Also loving the Prize bazarr pins! Never super valuable but an absolutely adorable style

They have gatcha machines (capsule toys) located in several stores around the parks. That is the same Chandu with bananas pose that is on the Happiness Everywhere pin and the postcard I sent you. It's actually a keychain and the ball part is just the container. The machines are ¥500 per play, and it dispenses a random toy. The little electric railway toy is the same thing, but a different series.
