I agree that this is a problem. I also have a big issue with cast members abusing their discounts, which when you start really looking at eBay offerings, is pretty obviously happening with both DLR and DSF stuff.

YOU ARE A WORD SHARK!

LOL! That's true! I have all the words, and dole them out only when I see fit! Haha. You're right though, and I feel the whole concept of the word "shark" in this hobby has just come to be the default "crymoar" response when someone can't get what they want. Don't get me wrong, to me, there are definitely sharks: for instance, the people who rip off tourists, trading low-demand Hidden Mickeys at $15+ in trade value for larger items from the stores (note that I'm fine with $5-$10 values on legit HMs, or more for the rare few HM's that are in high demand, especially since Disney's blind-bagged price for HM's on ds.com last month WAS $5 a pin plus shipping). I'd also include experienced traders dealing with other experienced traders who try to grossly misrepresent the worth of their pins while undervaluing the worth of whatever they're trying to trade for, and people who try to trade obviously counterfeit pins deceptively. But that's about it. If there isn't an attempt at a deception being made, I just don't consider it sharking.

Disneyfreaks - It's rough, because there are some people that have gotten really good at working over PoDM release days, and they're constantly honing their skills. Personally, if I cared about these pins at all (I've never bought one myself), I wouldn't give up. Just keep going, keep improving your strategy, and keep at it. I'm frankly considering joining the fray just because the thrill of the hunt is starting to sound kind of exciting, and while I know I'll start with a handicap since I haven't been in the thick of it yet, I know with time I'll get the hang of it.

I managed to buy 5 pins with Pinocchio on them, I'm trading 4 of them. All though I know after I bought them I had a man ask me if he could buy the pins off of me. He seemed very attached to his cell phone like he needed to contact someone. My boyfriend is a very talkative guy and I guess he was talking to him for a little while when I was in line and the man said that his business is made by these pins and that he is a eBay seller. They will stop at nothing to make a profit.

+1 +1 +1......

I don't personally collect these pins, I did get this months PODM for a friend who is out of town and a few to trade, but a few people on here are talking about the seller who has sold 48 plus and how did they get that many pins. I am not trashing anyone but there is a member who kindly offers to purchase these pins every month for people. They buy 32 for the members here, what makes them any different. I understand they are for different people and they might not be profiting but they are still buying 32 so that means multiple locations and multiple people to buy this many. It is still the same thing. Anyone can go store to store and buy them at park opening. No cell will be guaranteed and obviously as the day goes on the better cells will be gone. The person who purchases them for the members here do not guarantee any cells to anyone because it would be impossible. So for all of the people that bash the sellers for multiple pins remember next month when you pay for your PODM at cost plus shipping that the kind person that offered to get your pin is getting 32 plus all in one day as well so that does not make you any different. This is not intended to trash anyone or this person that buys the pins it is very nice of them to take the time to collect the money and respond to many emails and organize the sales and mail the pins, not to mention the time spent going to and from the park. You all should feel very lucky. But the reality is they are buying 32 or more monthly. It is not any different, profit or not.
