Me and my best friend booked a holiday to WDW back in June, to go in March. :) I can't believe how quickly it's crept up! Only a few months to go! So I've started looking into a few things what we can (and can't) do when we're there. :( The big can't is sadly Big Thunder Mountain, as it'll be closed for refurbishments whilst we're there. I'm hoping we'll at least be there for a Pin Trading Night, but I don't think we will be, hence the questions below!

1. Are Pin Trading Nights held at WDW every month?
2. Whenever Pin Trading Nights are held at WDW, are they always held on the last Friday of the month?

:anxious: We're there from the 15th to the 29th, which is Thursday to Thursday. The last Friday of the month would be the 30th, so we wouldn't be there for it if that's the case. Fingers crossed that it's not!

Also, if anyone knows of any other major refurbs/closures other than BTM and Mickey's Toon Town during our stay, please let us know!
 
Every other month, so there will be(should be) one in March. I will be there in January and was really hoping for one, but it is on the 27th...2 weeks after I'm gone. As for which friday's they are on it is totally random I think.
 
Yeah, I think Disney thinks it's too much of an effort for them to set one up due to ballroom availability and such which has made them more sporadic in nature. Initially I thought they were in the beginning of the month(May 2010), then both times that I went after they were in the middle the end of the month(Dec 2010 and May 2011).
 
They will announce March releases about the same time as the January PTN. They usually have some of them for the event. Not to buy just to show. Let me know if you are coming in March and I'll definitely make arrangements to come. Would love to meet you and swap some pins.

:) If the PTN falls on a date during our stay, we would definately be attending! So fingers crossed that it's somewhere between the 15th and the 29th!
 
just one quick question dose pin trading nights the same every other month for DL? because every time I try to look up info on DL pin trading night it comes up with WDW pin trading night info plese help!:anxious:
 
I just saw that the Piece of Disney Movies pin that is being released whilst we're there is Monsters Inc! Please could someone tell me what shop sells them? My friend who's going with me is a big Randall fan, so we'll want to get to the shop early to see if we can get a Randall cell. :)
