Here is a funny story that happened this morning...

So I wake up early this morning and as always the first thing on my mind is PINS... The wife is still asleep so I go in the office and grab a foam board, a marker, and a set of pins we have... head out to the living room do start work on my new project... Lets go... I already have the thought in my head... Mickey Sleeping and haveing wonderful "Dreams of Disney Memories".... So I take an hour or two drawing up Mickey and take the pins set off their cards... put them in order where I want them... Then I wanted to draw little dream clouds around them and I messed up on the first one... I get a bit frustrated and begin to just scribble in where I was going to draw the clouds... Here is where I was at that time...(mind you, wife was asleep)...

At this time... she wakes to find me with a marker in my hand drawing away... and asks..." What are you doing with set of Dreams Pins???"... I replied to her... "I am trying to put together something really cool for the June 30th Private Goofy Auction...But it is looking like..." It was at that very moment, that I failed to see her jaw drop to the floor... She looked around her and picked up the closest thing to her... Luckily for me, since I was not looking... It was the pillow from the couch that she grabed... as I was answering her she began beating me with it...!!! Now I ask you pin collectors... Who was right and who was wrong in this situation??? It's all for fun right... They are only pins...

Anyway... I guess I will be changing my thought on that going up... Next time it may not be a pillow!!!

Also... She has taken those pins put them back on their cards and hid them with all the others I have tried to auction without her ok... Oh Well...

Lol I can't blame her. It would be really hard for me to let go of all those beautiful pins even if it was all for the fun of it but I'm kind of a pin hoarder! lmao

Too cute! Great story and I have to admit that I would most likely side with your wife on this one! However, your artwork is fantastic!! Just need to find some ... ah ... "other" pins to fill in those great dream thought bubbles! Maybe you should confer with your wife before selecting the pins to go along with this Mickey Dream work to be auctioned! That way you won't be attempting to use "her keeper pins" and you will avoid any further bodily harm ... lol! Very cute story! Thanks for adding some fun and delight back into our addiction! Take care, *bjr

Putting aside the hysterical story, holy smokes, you're TALENTED!!!!! Wow, that's an amazing picture! Let me guess, I missed the post where you told us all you're a famous artist?

What a funny story. I'd probably react the same way as your wife. :) But you should definitely think of framing that. You put it together nicely.

What is wrong with you? You could have got yourself seriously hurt. Are you Goofy or something Ha ha ha.

Seriously though, I think your drawing looks great and it should definitely be kept as a pin board/display.

As far as getting rid of the pins....not a good idea. Creating an awesome display though.... a very good idea.

You are amazingly talented and personally I think your original idea was really good and maybe you could still do something similar in the future.

So I guess in conclusion, you may have ended up getting yourself beat with a pillow, but I think it was all for a good cause.

Anyway great story and thanks for sharing it with us. I am still picturing it in my head and laughing.
