Ok so I'm not trying to sound like a jerk here but yesterday I advisement sent out this request


monstrowaffle offers (insert name here) this pin:
*Pin 80877 (DSF - El Capitan Marquee - Tangled)
In return for one of these pins:
**Pin 93469 (12-12-12 - Wall-E & Eve)

So I was using an iPhone and it's kinda hard to control the box when it so small!

But te funny part was they demanded mine be on original
Card in MINT condition because theirs was in mint condition
On card.(which it is)
Ummm duh that pin is like a week old!! Haha
And some people even demanded MORE PINS!!!

And as soon as I apologized for sending this request half of the traders
respond with very nasty words!!

Now I'm not trying to sound like a victim here because it
Was my fault! And I apologize to anyone who received this request from
Me, but really? Acting like the pin was promised to you doesn't make me want
To trade it to you!!

Don't even think about it, you probably have to think of it from their perspective. They might have been offended and seen it as you rubbing it in their face that you have one of the most wanted Tangled pins that they could only dream of having. I mean, it wasn't right for them to curse you out, but I can only imagine the joy that I would experienced if someone offered me one of my grails only for them to say "actually it was a mistake...sorry."

At this point, the only thing you can do is burn those bridges and let it go. Don't let those mean words get to you, because they may have those words...(but in all honesty), you have the pin...so I wouldn't think about it. Sticks and stones may break your bones, but words will never hurt lol xP Plus, would you have wanted to trade with someone like that anyways?
 
I have done that before too...I accidentally sent out a ton of requests for one of my older LE 100 pins for open edition pins in return. Needless to say I have never received so many responses back! LOL

Just goes to show how many people actually read their requests...but only respond if the trade is majorly in their favor. :)
 
Everywhere I went with that pin, I have a picture of Sleeping beauty Gomes in my book.
I would tell people if they had that pin I would trade ANYTHING LOL
Tangled marquee and more!!!! Lol
But I mean, how could so many people agree to the trade? if I had been a newer trader with that pin it would have been seen as them sharking me! Lol
 
when you said that some asked for more pins, I had to go back and read the offer again....

Really? you offered a tangle marquee for an 12/12/12 walle and they wanted more than the marquee????

Instead of saying you made a mistake you should have said someone already accepted the trade so they'll have to spend the rest of their lives wondering what if they had just checked their email a little bit sooner...
 
I just accidentally marked the designer Ariel pin as a "trade" instead of a "want" :facepalm:
I just checked my email and was like, "What is with all of these trade requests!?" Hopefully I didn't break anyone's heart when I had to type out my error and apologize! I fear retaliation emails!
