Hey all,

DisneyPinPlace is gaining in support and stature, but PinPics is still well-known and well-referenced. This is leading (at least me) to some trouble when some posts a pin number. Is it PP or PP (PinPlace or PinPics)?

So, please from now on, if you are going to list a pin number in an auction or for sale or trade, please tell us all which site you are referencing.

Now back to your regular program, already in progress...

Aren't all pin place numbers referenced with PD at the beginning of the number?

I could be wrong, but I always thought it was a good way to differentiate

They do, that's how you tell them apart... All DPP pins start with PD.

You can also search DPP for a PP#, and it will turn up... But it will likely find several pins if the number is referenced in other descriptions...

OK, I guess that just shows that I haven't even looked at the Disney Pin Place site yet!

Thanks for the information. It's good that DPP decided to give pins a number that has a different format than those used by PinPics.
