Acme Hot Art Pins
I feel like they aren't THAT good tbh. :/ I trade for a Marie Music for my sister a while ago, and I wasn't all that impressed. Then again, if they made a Jumbo Lion King one that looked cool I might have a different opinion. XD

Not that I know of, I know they're releasing a few LR Lion King pins. (Which do look awesome btw)Aren't they releasing a lion king one?

Yeah, I wish I liked it. There's really just too much going on in that pin design for me. :/This is the Lion King one they've released:

I did confirm in an email that the monthly number of pins will go from 4 to 2 with the price for existing subscribers will remain at $125 per pin (plus shipping). They are going to ask upwards of $200 each for those buying outside of the subscription holders. What was also interesting is that they are not going to be accepting any new subscriptions, I guess counting on people in Shanghai and Japan buying them upon release and/or people cuing in a virtual line, online... Those with current subscriptions will be able to maintain them until they decide to give it up... Their stated goal ... at least in the email to me, was to be more timely with releases and to not get behind with two being a more manageable release number.
Personally, I like what I see online (especially those Rapunzel pics! - Thanks!) and am anxious to get my first set. As these pins will be part of the collection my daughter and I build together, I think they will be worth it. With her recently declaring that Beauty and the Beast is her new favorite, I am very much looking forward to the Belle Pin I have seen concept art for recentlyFor me, this is why we collect pins and I hope the quality matches the images and is a sustainable model. 225$ every month or every other month just seems psychologically like less of a hit that $533
I feel ACME is more like over done fantasy pins. Shoot we cant even wear them or take them to the parks to trade. or can we? Either way, I find it very hard to accept as a true Disney pin.
Now I am curious about whether the ACME pins could pass the trade test, it would be an expensive trade, but I am curious to see what comes of an attempted trade.
