Advice on a trade, please!

Hello!

I was wondering if you guys could give me some feedback on a potential trade offer.

I want this pin:

Just as a reference, I personally value this pin at most $35.


in return they asked for:

[pinpics]80797[/pinpics] [pinpics]85423[/pinpics]

And I value these pins at $20-$25 for the Maleficent and $15-$20 for the Pocahontas.

What are your opinions?

If it were sitting on ebay right now for $35, would you buy it?

I try to ask myself that question when deciding whether or not to do a trade. I try to figure out how badly I want it and what I'd be willing to pay for it. Then I look at the pins the other person wants. If the pins they want would be difficult to replace or are valued higher than the one I want, I pass. But if I can go out and easily buy them back for the same amount I'd be willing to spend on the other pin, then I go for it.

I only "over trade" when the pin is impossible to find and that may be my only chance at it.

I agree with Selen..thats too much..for you to be trading..JMHO though

I also think that is quite unbalanced . . . I would tell them I would do it for one and maybe a different pin of a lesser value.

Wow, I just searched for the sleeping beauty pin on eBay and one ended for only $7.50, so yeah, I'd pass. This kind of goes to show that high wants numbers don't always mean there are a high number of people actively looking for the pin.
