I dropped by Hot Topic just after dinner tonight, I like to check for surprise sales, and lo and behold I found another Tomorrowland pin. I thought this was one that was already up on the pintradingdb.com site but I was mistaken, there are four up there already but they're all different. This makes...what, number five, I think? And they all look almost identical? Why?

The only difference between this one and any of the others so far uploaded (with the exception of the one with the blue background and the orange T) is the missing molecule symbol behind the upper part of the T. What the heck.

Just found out that Hot Topic acquired ThinkGeek . At least they will still carry the Star Wars and Dr Who line.

These are the Funko pins, released just prior to SWC. Check the back for the SKU number. The Disney Store also sold these. The newest Tomorrowland pins are the two given out by the El Capitan Theater over Memorial Day weekend to those with military ID who bought the VIP movie pin package. This pin set was different from the movie premiere ticket pin.

This is what I think is out there:

1. OE Park Pin- Blue
2. Funko Blue
3. Funko Orange
4. DSSH Orange

Promo Pin Orange w/Electron Diagram - Same Pin, Different Cards
-5a NYCC - don't know what the card looks like
-5b New York Auto Show - Says Chevrolet on the front (same as being given out at Test Track?) 81-6755-12 15244
-5c Annual Passholder Giveaway - "Imagine a place where nothing is impossible" "In Theaters May 22"
-5d Regal - "From the Directors of..." back of the card has the Regal logo; SMALL image behind pin, front side only 81-6755-12 15059
-5e? Japan (it looks similar to the other promos, but is it)
-5f? DL World Premier (ditto)
-5g Disney Movie Rewards - "Imagine a place where nothing is impossible" - LARGE image behind pin, and on back of card 81-6755-12 15059

6. D23 Optomist LE4000 - Orange
7. Two Pack (DSSH Military VIP w/ Ticket) - Orange with Electron and without
8. Thailand - Orange no Electron

It sounds like there was something given out at the Disney Store too, but I'm not quite sure what the card looks like

Then there is the El Capitan Ticket, and DSSH Marquee which are in completely different styles.

^ What about the original D23 Expo pin for playing the Optimist game?

There may be a CM pin or two also.

My absolute sympathy for anyone wanting to be completists on these with all the variations!

See, I totally didn't even know that existed. Or forgot about it. 2013 is a long time ago for me. Mentioning CM reminded me that there is a CM bolo style lanyard as well. I haven't seen it yet, but my Dad called to ask if I wanted one.

This one from Japan:

This one from Thailand (I think):

The back of the Optimist pin (LE 4000):

The original logo pin (as seen on the movie promo T-shirts at 2013 D23 Expo). I don't know if this has ever been made available anywhere, and could just be a movie promotional prop:

I am good with owning one version of the orange promo pin- that said, I haven't found one yet (at least not for free). I will be at the parks this weekend though...if they do in fact have them at Test Track, I'm hoping to get one. I am also in need of the blue Funko version if anyone has any to trade. I have two extra orange Funko that I would happily trade. :)

I was at Disney this past week and asked about the tomorrowland pin and they said they didn't have any anymore. We did manage to find a blue one for sale at animal kingdom though

Ok thanks. And you found the blue OE you mean, not the blue Funko, right?

This is movie accurate. It is the pin that Casey gets. The other pin that FUNKO produced is accurate to the one young Frank gets. It has an orange T with a dark blue background and the molecule symbol.

There are actually three different pins in the movie (confirmed by the writers)... the two orange ones, as seen in the set I posted in the pictures above, and the blue Funko one. [SPOILER ALERT] ----> The orange T with it NOT popping out of the circle is used at the very end of the movie, when they hand them out to the kids.

The two pin set (that Ethan identified from Thailand) was given out by the El Capitan Theater during Memorial Day weekend showings of the Tomorrowland movie. In order to receive the free pin set, one had to have a current military ID card and purchase the VIP ticket with pin. The two pins have SKU numbers that are different from the other Tomorrowland pins.

To make sure we are talking about the same pins, I am going to post the 2 Funko ones. This first one is the pin that Casey Newton gets that starts the adventure. I think we agree on that.

The second one is the one Frank Walker gets from Athena as a kid at the world's fair.

I grabbed a screenshot of the jetpack scene showing this. You can see the video here. Jet pack ride

The third pin from the end of the movie must be the blue T with Molecule. However, I have not found any stills or video to verify that.

I got my Movie Reward pin today, and I have a question for those that have that one and the AP giveaway pin...is there anything different on the card or pin, because from the pictures I see online, they look like they may be completely identical. The serial number is the same as the Regal Cinemas pin, but the text is different.

The pins look the same. The cards look the same except at the bottom of the annual passholder card, it says "In Theaters May 22" below "Tomorrowland".

Do the D23 Optimist pin and the DSF large pin have more of an orange-glittered fill than the orange-solid fill pins of the other variations?
