Was rather excited to find a couple of Disney pins when looking around an antique store in Kalamazoo Saturday!!! :bigthumb: One is an older Adventure Land Goofy pin! :)

One day I will find a grail pin or doll while looking at these places  I am sure of it! :x:

Those "land" pins are all over the flea markets, yard sales, etc. They gave those out to everyone for the anniversary. There are a few rarer ones to look for, the point sherriff star or the pointy rocket. But most are worth very little due to the volume at which they were produced. Like the Coca-Cola or Kodak or Energizer pins you find at those same types of places.

I think it's exciting to find Disney Pins where you least expect it! I've found a couple in Goodwill over the years. It does NOT matter how much they are worth. I, for one, am getting sick and tired of people who only value pins by how much they can 'get' for them. Some of my favorite pins are worth nothing to most people but mean the world to me as they were gifts!

Enjoy your score!

What anniversary were these given out for? DL or WDW? I really like the look of that pin.

I agree its always fun to find pins in those places. Even though they may not be rare, I kind of feel like I rescuing them in hopes that one day a trader will be searching for one and I can say "I have that pin !"

Thank you for giving me some background info on these Mark! :bigthumb: I didn't know anything about them and it is kind of nice to know! :) I only paid $1 a piece for them...it is more the fun of the hunt and excitement of the find for me than the value! :) And it can always be a little added extra for a trade to happen or something to zap! :) Just a cool feeling to find them!

$1 is a good deal!

My mom found me a Club 33 gold logo pin at a thrift store: $2.99. Though I had a couple, it was still nice to add to the collection, you know?
