I have a villains bowling pin set and I see that on my cruella and queen of hearts pins the hidden mickey icons are smaller than on the other pins and the nubs on the back are like 'cut in half'

Here is a picture of them. Which ones are scrappers?

OoOoOo I love bowling and this set is awesome! If I remember correctly, the easiest way to spot a scrapper with the pins pins (haha) is through the silver line going across the top of each bowling pin. Usually the scrappers had thinner silver lines and the real ones had fatter lines. Hope this helps!

they look good to me. my boyfriend has a set of scrappers of these. Cruella is yellow, Hades is like spring green and scar looks super odd. Also Jafar's color on his head piece is green.

Sadly I had to explain to him why they were bad, and i likely scared him off pins permanently.

No underfill or rough spots. The backstamps all look the same.
It's just the smaller hidden mickeys on Cruella and Queen of hearts that bother me.
I have seen funky colored scrappers of these on Ebay, mine are good color-wise.

I agree with what you are thinking. When compared to the Pinpics pictures the mickey heads on the Cruella and Queen are way too small. Also, hard to tell from the pics, but Cruella's mouth seems to have more of an opening on the Pinpics picture and the pink color on the Queen seems off. In the Pinpics picture it looks more like a maroon but in your picture it looks hot pink.

Queen of hearts is more like a maroon, it's the bad lighting of the photo lol.

it is always hard to say just from a pic. But you should check many things and find out what all is wrong. For the most part... If there is just one thing wrong.... it could b a disney pin and sum how made it past the QA dept. Now with that said...almost all fakes i have see have a few things wrong. There could b small dips in paint... edge could b rough.. pin could b to thin. Tap them on a tile counter top and see if they all make the same sound. The fake ones sound like a tink tink...kind of like cheap tin would sound. Look at the back stamps. They may all say the same thing. But do any have more of a rase to them. like the are more thick or stands out more. As far as HM head. Look close and see if the head is nice and clear. No fog or soft edge to the outline. hope that helps a little.

Did you try tasting them? If they taste like chicken it's a scrapper. Just saying, it's what I heard.:donald:
