Beware: This post is very dramatic and I regret nothing.

Have you guys ever had that ONE pin that you would trade anything you own for? That ONE pin that is so elusive, and you think you might never own it? Well ladies in gents, never give up! Because I got mine today. Pin 39647 JDS - Initials Series Letter V (Vixey). This is the only Vixey (Fox and the Hound, for anyone that doesn't know) pin in existence, and my most wanted pin in the entire world since I started pin trading 2 years ago. During my time pin trading, I have never seen this pin for trade, I have never seen it for sale, and I have never even seen a picture of it outside of the fuzzy pinpics one! I was pretty sure that this pin did not actually exist, that someone had just made it up to torture me.

But lo and behold, last week, someone started trading it. I saw "1 trading" and had a mini panic attack. I have to say thank you to the new message system on pinpics, because I had a trade worked out within 2 hours of sending the trader a message. No waiting for the morning until requests went through. It was amazing. I had to trade out of my collection, but who even cares. Because I don't. A week later, I got a package in the mail.

AHHHHHHHHH I CAN'T BELIEVE IT. I now own my ultimate holy grail. I really can't believe it. I can't believe I can finally check this one off of my signature. I originally wanted to spam with reaction gifs, but none could really express how happy I am right now. So I'm just going to go with this one:

Yayyyyyy congrats!!!! That is such a pretty pin! I've admired it forever since I collect foxes.... Now I know that eventually there's hope!!!
 
Thanks, everyone! I still can't believe it. I have it sitting on my desk, and I have to glance over and pick it up to make sure it's real lol!

Again, thank you guys!! :D I almost don't know what to do now. I have been searching for this one pin since I started pin trading, it has been my ultimate goal. I've had so many conversations talking about how I'd never find it, or how it was my favorite in existence. So now I have to wonder what my next great search will be. (Even though I'm convinced that no other pin will ever be this special to me.)
 
Thank you everyone for your comments. I always love to hear about people finding their 'unobtainables', so I wanted to share now that I finally found mine. :) It sounds totally cheezy, but I really have to say never give up! You'll definitely find that one pin someday.

Awwh, you!! I really appreciate that. *millions of hugs* ;A; This pin has been quite a quest! It's one of those things where I honestly didn't ever expect to own it. But now that I have it, I feel like I could honestly quit pin trading and be happy with what I have with no pin-regrets (although I would never, lol!!).

Yes!! I have a pin like that too and a friend who barely knew me at the time zapped it to me. It's my ultimate grail...everything else is just pixie dust sprinkled on top!

Seriously! That is amazing! I remember you talking about how you may never get this pin, and now you actually have it! Ah! It's always awesome to read posts of traders/collectors once they get their ultimate grail! I too, am looking for this pin and now you have given me hope. It might take me longer, but here is living proof that it does exist! I hope you don't mind me asking, but how many pins did you trade for her? It's an absolutely stunning pic compared to the one on pinpics. Congrats again!! Is it possible to save the last photo? It's a much clear pic than the other :)​

Thank you!! It's been my dream pin for so long. I'm just overjoyed to have it. I'll send you a message in just a second about the trade details. :) Here is an even better photo I think that anyone can save or use:

I took this one outside, so that's under natural light, not the orangey-artificial lighting. It still comes off as a little harsh, though. The coloring is very soft and pastel-like on this pin.
