[TD="colspan: 2"]"Here you go, partner" is the title of the first in a series of
deluxe 50th Anniversary collectible pins. Available to Annual Passholders during
a two-day Exclusive Release on Friday, July 15, and Saturday, July 16, 2005,
while supplies last, this special pin comes on an easel in its own commemorative
collectors' box, and the art depicts Walt and Mickey Mouse in a magical moment
during their Disneyland day. Walt and Mickey are standing by a popcorn cart
sharing a box of popcorn. The pin reads "Greetings from Main Street U.S.A." The
Mickey, Walt, the Cart and the word "Greetings" are pin-on-pin.
On these
two special AP-exclusive dates, one pin was your gift following a single food
purchase of $50.00 or more (after tax and any applicable discount), at these
Disneyland park food locations only. (This pin was not available outside of
Disneyland park on 7/15 and 7/16.)
Beginning Sunday, July 17, this pin
offer was available, while supplies last, to ALL Disneyland Guests. Guests who
made a food purchase $30 or more in a single transaction had the opportunity to
purchase one Jumbo Pin for an additional $20.
The jumbo pin is 3 1/2" x 2
3/8" (not counting the separate easel); with the easel, it is 4 5/8"
tall.
The back of the pin has two "nails" to attach the pin to clothing
or the like. Also, the easel has two nubs that fit into two indents in the back
of the pin, so if you want to display it on the easel, the pin will not slip
off.
The pin came in a black box marked "Disneyland Anniversary
Collection" written in gold. A picture of Sleeping Beauty's castle (with
fireworks above the castle) appears between "Disneyland" and "Anniversary
Collection."
One Member adds: "We were there during the celebration when
the pin was first offered and the display signs simply said "Limited Edition
Collectible Pin". No edition size was noted, nor is any edition size mentioned
on the box for the pin or the pin itself"
