So I thought I would share with you what I was awarded with today at work. I was given this Pin and Award for exceeding the Companies expectations for the month of February. Although my days with Disney are coming to an end, more like weeks, I am proud to be the Disney Difference. I wanted to dedicate this award to all my guests that i have made contact with this should be your award and your PIN because of you I am able to create magical memories at such a beautiful place.

P.S. I found my Prince. I am celebrating this success with him tonight. My Boyfriend is so smart and beautiful.

Congrats all the way around... Let's hope your stay at Disney will be extended or at least you should be on the top of the list for return employees... Either way your top on my list...

Thank you all for the support. Im not leaving Disney because i dislike it, just more because I have a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology and I need to get back into my career where my true passion belongs. Thanks for the love, courage, and bravery.

Love Always Your Royal Prince,

Eric

Congrats for the awesome award Eric, and kudos to you for following your heart. Hope you will find a suitable position to your heart's content

Congrats!!!! You deserve it!!! You are true of heart and care so much!!! And ahhh you too are official yay!!!! You must text me and tell me how your date went!! <3

Oh whoa I didn't know that!! U have the same degree as me! are u working towards ur MFT licensing hours too??

Follow your heart Eric. Considering your skill set and personal life experiences you could be the one to literally save peoples lives that are similarly oriented. Even in the Bay Area, a place that is universally known to be a virtual LGBT etc Mecca, we have kids/adults killing themselves because they are so hurt, scared, bullied and most of all feeling alone. Seems like that would be impossible here but its true, just because an area is accepting doesn't mean their families are, or even themselves.

Here it is 2013 and there are still (derogatory non-hetro sexuality) jokes in every other movie, the older generations still saying things like "that's so gay" or straight up calling kids F words when addressing boys that are not necessarily sports stars and not the F's I tend to toss around the really dirty one.

You are in a unique position to not just preach or tell someone "there there its ok" while not actually knowing what it means to grow up being not just different but to be something that most of their lives they have been told either by friends, family or the media that they are not normal, evil, dirty and so on. I will never know how it feels to be gay. I am not qualified to pretend to know what that would feel like, I can only empathize with a situation and try to make someone feel good about who they are, not who they "choose to be" barf bag in hand when hearing that crap. Sure people, wouldn't you "choose" to be made fun of, to be an outcast (depending on area of course) sure thing that is totes why I "choose" to be straight....such stupid #&*)

I am sooo over hearing people say they "tolerate" gays. "We are totally tolerant about the gays" Seriously? You tolerate gays? You "tolerate" Nazi's not gay people.

Jumping down from that big ole soap box in the Bay.

Photo for you, I made these rainbow cupcakes for my sons final "Homophobia and Coming Out" class at SFSU, which unlike what it sounds, is not a class to learn how to come out as a homophob lol. Also son is not gay sorry, you would sooo love him he is super cute (see last pic)
