These are some highlights of my trip to WDW that I have listed until I get home so I can type everything:

  • [*=1]Got around 40 pins!! My parents are saving a bunch for Christmas and a lot of them were the booster sets, etc.
[*=1]We got free tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party!!
[*=1]I got some LE Christmas Pins!
[*=1]I got to meet TiggerMickey or Judy!!! First DPF member I've met!
[*=1]I met Clancy! I don't think he's on DPF, but he comes to WDW everyday and goes to three parks!
[*=1]Got 4 free fast passes for my parents and I for four rides!
[*=1]Went to MK twice, Epcot, and MGM!
[*=1]Ate at 1900 Park Fare for breakfast!

**Update**
Yay! I'm back home everyone! Although I wish I could have stayed, I am happy to be back home.

The Trip To WDW (Nov. 14):
The trip up there was a nightmare. We left at 2:20PM from West Palm Beach, FL. About 2 and a half hours on the road, a tire blew on my trailer. My parents and I heard this horrible "bang" noise from outside. My mom looked outside the window, and all she could see was rubber flying into the air from the tire. We were about 30 minutes away from Walt Disney World when this happened. So what we did next is we had to go to the nearest service plaza which was 5 miles away from where we were. Those were the longest 5 miles of my life. I kept thinking the trailer was going to flip over or something. Eventually we got there safe, and the new plan was to unhitch (unconnect the trailer from the truck) the trailer and go find a tire like at Wal-Mart or Pep Boys. When my dad went to unhitch it, the battery wouldn't work. So we had to call the road ranger guy to give us a jumpstart for the trailer to unhitch. After that, we left the trailer in the parking lot of the service plaza to go find a tire from a nearby store. I also have 4 hot and sweaty dogs panting in the truck, so that wasn't helping things. We eventually found a tire and my dad bought a new battery as well. We went back to the trailer, replaced the tire, and hitched the trailer back onto the truck and we were on the road again. We didn't arrive at Ft. Wilderness until 10:30PM. (Sorry if that didn't make any sense, I'm REALLY tired)

Park Days (Nov. 15), (Nov. 16), and (Nov. 17):
The first day we went to Magic Kingdom because we got a reservation for the Passholder Fantasyland Preview. My mom spent 7 hours trying to get our reservation set up. The first call took 3 hours. We were on hold for that long. The guy that picked up took my mom's name for the sign-up, but nothing else. No e-mail, no phone number, no address, none of the names of the other guests in our party, NOTHING. My mom tried called several more times asking if there was some kind of e-mail confirmation that she was supposed to get, but they said that they had sent it every time. We never got it. My mom called for a final try about 3 days before the trip. She asked to speak to a manager and finally got some help. There was some other person with MY MOM'S NAME that took our reservation. So eventually we got that straightened out and got our reservation back and scheduled it when we wanted. So after we get there, we go to get our wristbands for the Fantasyland Preview. After that, we went back to the new Fantasyland area to begin whatever preview we were getting. Once we got there, we noticed a large number of people going into the new Fantasyland and they didn't have the wristbands. What had happened was not enough people signed up for the Fantasyland preview, so they had a dress rehearsal day when WE were supposed to have the exclusive preview. So my parents and I went down to Guest Relations and talked with them. We told them everything and with that, they gave us 4 fast passes and what else? FREE MICKEY'S VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS PARTY TICKETS. I had an absolute BLAST going. I got to go get LE Christmas Pins from the Frontierland Trading Post and guess what else? I met DPF Member TiggerMickey or Judy! It was all just a coincidence too! This was the first time I have ever met a DPF member! I also met Clancy! I don't know if you've heard of him or seen him, but he's really nice and he's a big pin trader! He stays at a campground nearby for 6 months and comes to WDW EVERYDAY and goes to 3 PARKS EVERYDAY. I have no idea how he does it. It's amazing! I wish I lived close by like that :/ But other than that, Day 1 was pretty amazing. I guess I have to think if we didn't have the problems, we wouldn't have any tickets, and I wouldn't have had such a good time that night

I'll continue to update this.... I just get so tired xD

Aw thank you! There were a few bumps in the road that were giving us problems, but we got them resolved and I really had a great time! I'll go more into detail later

Hi Gabby
It was awesome to meet you,I am glad you got your pins.they sure were pretty...and I spent enough!!!

Judy

Man I am going to miss everyone there arent I? lol
Glad to see you enjoyed it, and how was the Christmsa party?

I am SO happy for you...but to read that you guys were given free passes to the Christmas party for the troubles your mother had,,,,and I got a " sorry for our behavior" when my son and I were treated like CRAP a few weeks ago kinda ticks me off! I am really glad you had a great time though...can't wait thread the rest of your story

@Mickeymousje: Thanks! I just added a little bit more, and I'm continuing to add more because I can't write it all at once! My fingers get really tired after a while :/

@TiggerMickey: It was so nice meeting you too! My parents say I'm done until Christmas! They took a bunch of pins I got and stored them away for Christmas But I'll get them soon!

@Tinker: Thank you! And I agree! She is the nicest person you could ever randomly start talking too! I didn't know Judy was TiggerMickey at first xD

@5titch: Aw darn! I thought I was the person going up when everyone wasn't going Darn. But the Christmas party was GREAT! I especially loved the fireworks! They were amazing!

@Mylittletyguy: I'm so sorry for the troubles you had! What happened? There was a little more to the story that I didn't include that we told the girl at Guest Relations, like when a CM started talking about religion and politics in a negative way when my mom was trying to make a resort reservation and that we weren't able to go with part of my family because of the whole mess up with the Fantasyland Preview that we wanted to do, and turned out to be nothing.

If you can find the thread that I started that was titled "Frickin Pin Meanie!" that will explain everything! LOL Basically, I drove 3 hours for my son and I to get the Lonesome Ghoshs PODM and the cast member was a BIATCH and refused to sell pins to my 9 year old. He was in TEARS and I got a manager involved who didn't help at ALL.

Oh my goodness... I am so so sorry. We didn't speak to a manager that was standing around Fantasyland...we spoke to someone a Guest Relations and it was a girl. I think girls typically have more of sympathy to things like that... I would go to Guest Relations next time you're there and tell them? It's been kind of a while, but it's just a thought.
