Did everyone get the pins they wanted? I didn't unfortunately (I wanted 2 for my little girls who collect), as the system wouldn't take my card payment (twice) and then when I tried again, to pay via paypal it took it but they weren't ordered! So, now I'm waiting for a refund from Disney to my paypal!! :mad:

So, I'm up bright and early tomorrow to drive 40 mins to try and get to the nearest Disney Store for it opening to see if I can get 2 pins! :shock:

I wonder if there will ever be a month where I can order pins online and there won't be a hitch of some sort! I'm losing faith in DS!
 
All sorted - up bright and early and was first in DS this am. Got two (one for each DD) so they are happy and I am a happy Mummy! They are lovely pins :)

Dawny - I already complained last month by email about the issues. I really can't be bothered to complain once again. However, I do see your point. I have come to expect it with the online ordering - it's a farce. Apparently the pins all sold out in 4 mins! There was a LE of 500, however I had heard on here that because of halving orders last month due to issues, some people got one free before they were released! So, that took the numbers down, by how many, I'm unsure. My concern was though that they had taken the paypal order but never placed an order for the pins. It was only because I didn't get a DS order confirmation email that I thought something had gone wrong. So I called them, clearly they weren't going to contact me! The lady on the phone was less than apologetic though - which I have found quite frequently with Disney - just told me my order was pending and wasn't processed so I wasn't getting the pins on this occasion!

It really puts you off collecting. I don't live near a Disney Park at all (In the UK), and my nearest DS is a 80 minute round trip! But, if my girls are happy and grateful I don't mind I guess. Just pleased I can breathe a sigh of relief that we aren't too bothered about the next releases in 2 weeks time....! I think I'll end up spending at fortune on our trip to Disneyland Resort Paris trip in June as it's the only way to get decent pins more easily!

Tinker - was your friend successful? I have a feeling quite a few people will receive the usual 'sorry, we are halving your order' email in a few days time - the usual that they pull each month!
 
These issues with the website taking payment have been going on with the Disney store website for over 6 months. I have spoken to people higher up in Disney store than the guest relations department and was told that the issue was not with the website but my browser. I soon told them that was not true.

Unfortunately Disney Store UK no longer care for the collectors, they are too busy concentrating on being a toy shop as it's easy money for them.
