Hiya! So, I have finally found some funds to purchase some pins while not at the parks! I know the E-Bay is a shady place for getting REAL pins, so I was wondering if you all could share some of your favorite and trustworthy places to buy pins at home. I know that we have a for sale board here, but is there any other sources that are great for buying? For example, I am interested in getting traders and nice pins for my collection. Sorry if this is the wrong board for posting this, but I did not really know where to post it. Thanks!

You can try Disneystore.com and if you have a Disney Store near you they are releasing sets of 3 pins on (I believe) Saturdays for a few weeks. You can also do phone orders from the Disney Studio Store in Hollywood if the pins have been out for a while. There are several available including some open editions and limited editions.

If I don't but on here I buy on Facebook. There are a lot of groups with some great people trading and selling pins :)
Disney pin trading, Disney pin trading/selling and pin junkies are 3 but there are a lot of groups :)

Thanks for the replies! I have purchased some pins from the Disney Store, but I usually find their selection quite poor. I have a few places that I wanted some opinions on. Has anyone tried ordering from the Shop Disney Parks App, and this website called Everything Disney Pins?

Yes, I've ordered from the Shop Parks app...it's an official Disney app so it's just like buying from the parks except the stuff gets shipped to you. Currently there are around 800 pins in the app...way more than are on the Disney Store website! A few will be marked "Available In-Store Only" but most you can order, including some LE pins.

There are a lot of good eBay sellers just look at what they are selling to help weed out the bad ones. If they have a ton of the same pins or pins cheaper than cost then chances are they are not legitimate.

Thank you for the Ebay sellers! Whenever I type "Disney Pins" I feel like I am walking through a counterfeit minefield lol. Also thank you for advice on the app! I will def be checking it out!

I've bought of the the sisters from Everything Disney pins in the past (they do have nice pins)... but they are overpriced (just my personal opinion: no offense intended).

In support of this suggestion from tiggeriffic... on the Saturday releases coming out. There are actually some lovely pins which are part of this 30th Anniv. collection. Link:

I will agree the disneystore in the USA routinely has overpriced and not so exciting pins, but this 30th series is actually very reasonably priced and some of the pins are very appealing.

Yea I have seen the 30th anniversary pins, I'm thinking on picking up the Enchanted pin and keeping the rest from that set as some nice traders :). Thank you for all the suggestions! Learning about some nice people on E-bay has been so helpful!

Oh am I glad I checked this thread out. I am new to pins and I can't afford a trip to WDW so I was going to go directly to Ebay and type in Disney Pins and have at it with no experience at all. Thanks for listing the sellers that are credible. I don't want to start off on the wrong foot.

Yay!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who is new and totally lost in where to get pins outside the parks. Thankfully the for sale forum here seems like an affordable and reliable place to get some goodies!!!!!
