Bolo Lanyards?

Can someone explain to me what a bolo lanyard is? Is it just a style of lanyard? Are the characters on the lanyard medals?

Just a random question I guess. lol

You said it correctly ,they are just that,usually cast members have them with a plastic card holder or a gold clip to attach their Id from ,and there's diff characters too...

This is a bolo lanyard. It has two strings and usually have a medallion with them.

If anyone happens to just have the CM string with the clip, I need several. I have a bunch of the medallions with no lanyard...LOL

What is "bolo"? *scratches head* I've seen pins appear that are called "bolo" and no idea what it means.

It's a variation of a bolo tie, worn a lot (?) in the American Southwest. Here's a link:

I have a Bolo Style Goofy and love it....though I would never say it was a "lanyard" as it will not hold pins

I just traded an old Donald style bolo lanyard. The "pins" are pretty cool as they are usually large in size.

Still looking for any of the lanyards (in good shape of course), no medallion needed, I just need everything else. Or if anyone knows where they might sell ones close to what these look like.

I have the Disneyland 50th anniversary bolo lanyard. Agreed, not good for pins as I use a different one, however, I use it for our annual passes and fastpasses!
