On twitter I've heard they're releasing another Calhoun doll, LE 1000 on Nov 2nd? Is this a re-issue or a new doll? It looks the same from what I can remember the original looked like. It seems like Disney have realized Wreck-it Ralph merch is popular, after all they're going to re-release the Funko Vinyls too.

But what I want to know is... if this is true will Calhoun be available on the UK site too?
 
I would be really surprised if they made more if the exact same doll. You saw pix? I could see them releasing her in her wedding dress but in her armor would be such a rip off. As someone who camped outside to get one last year that would annoy me--especially if they reissue her in the standard box this time. Anyway I live WIR so it'd be nice to get
more merch. I would love to see more Sugar Rush dolls to go with talking Vanelloppe and Taffyta.

Yeah but perhaps they were just using a pic of the old doll, all I know is they said it will be released on Nov 2nd in Disney Stores.

I'm hoping they start making more merch for WiR. I'm so excited about the Turbo Funko figure... but there's still not any pics of it online yet!
 
They have never re-released any of the limited edition dolls (since that would not make them a limited edition any longer). I agree with Quasimodo that a Wedding Dress Calhoun may happen though.

And frankly, once they cycle through the Princess LE dolls once, I think they will definitely go through and release different versions of them. They always sell out and are a very successful line for Disney Store.

Well that's what I was thinking, hence why I was rather confused.
 
I love Calhoun so a wedding dress
version that I could display with the other dolls would be great. I assume she would have a regular box at least. However I still think her armor costume is unbeatable and so unique to the line.
 
That sounds so weird. Don't get me wrong, she was beyond epic and AMAZING...but...why again? Is there something WIR coming out again that would explain another doll release? The first Calhoun was a really small edition, if I remember correctly, so I totally understand more people wanting her...but I don't understand another release.
I'm more surprised that they have done nothing in regards to *Princess* Vanelope. I mean...come on. That gown was like a doll maker's dream come true (and nightmare). While it was so "Candy Land", *I* would even buy an LE of that. (I do hope they make a designer inspired doll of that too.)
 
A post regarding the LE Calhoun was also posted on the LE Disney doll facebook page, for those who can see. They posted it in their timeline as a sort of doll history with last's years release date and such, not as a new or pending release doll.
That may be what happened on the twitter page, but I don't have a twitter.

That's exactly what I was going to say, I noticed the same post. Although it said nothing about her coming out a second time.
It was just last years release date, with Frozen coming out soon i'm pretty sure it's going to been an Anna or Elsa LE doll. Since
all the excitement is on Frozen right now, they wouldn't randomly bring out the same doll again. It wouldn't make sense in my opinion.

That's probably it; I'm just wondering why it was worded in such a way to make it seem like it was being re-released. Bah, I dunno. Thanks for the info anyhow.

Oh and on another note; they have previewed the Funko Turbo vinyl now. :D
