Can anyone tell me when the new year's collection of Princess Sketchbook ornaments will be available to buy...? I have missed out on the past couple of years worth, and I do not want to miss any for 2016. Any advice is appreciated.

They start coming out in late July/early August and they start their buy 2 or more for $10 each in mid Sept. They usually drop to around $8 each in Nov.

Thanks for your help! I wonder...by Sept and Nov are most of the Princesses usually still available? Or are they mostly sold out? I want to get the whole set.

yes, the princess will still be available in Sept. Nov is a hit or miss. I saw most of the princesses at my local Disney store in Nov. Disney will also release a set of all the princesses in skirt ornaments.

The fabric skirt princesses usually last through the first couple of big sales, for instance they were all available during the friends and family sale. But this year they did sell out faster than usual, which was really surprising. They do usually put out a set that has them all included.

I don't recall seeing sketchbook ornaments at Disneyland. hey do usually stock them at Disney stores and Disney outlets.

I'm excited to see what this year's ornaments are. I'm hoping for a great Nick and Judy one, and maybe some Inside Out and Lion King ones as well.

Last year, our store was sold out of BB-8 but I did get one when we went to Disneyland and they had the other Star Wars ones too. So I think the parks have some of them. I've seen more Disney Store branded things in the parks the last 18 months (annoying to me, I want park merchandise not stuff I have at home) so I suspect this year will have some, but probably not all styles.

I think the Sketchbook ornament of the month is only available online though.

The nemo sketchbook ornament set came out when the Finding Dory merch came out, but the Rafiki and Si and Am ornaments just came online Monday. It looks like their prices went up again this year though so I am waiting for one of the sales. I found a supposed list of ones coming out on RDC and so far it has been spot on. I can post here if people want the possible spoilers. I'm a YUUUUGE ornament collector.

I'd love spoilers, too!

So far, I know I'm gonna need that Si & Am ornament.

You guys are great! Thanks for all of your help.

And yes, please, post spoilers!

And here is a list I broken down from that post. I'm hoping none of these are UK exclusives like they were two years back. I'm still upset over that Sword and the Stone ornament.

Princess ornaments (same sculpts as last year but different embellishments on the skirts)

Spiderman
Captain America
Black Widow
Black Panther
Hulk
Mickey & Minnie
Chip n Dale
Pooh

Tinker Bell with maybe a spool of thread? (translator says sewing and coil)
Dopey
Rafiki in meditation
Kion (Lion Guard)
Doc McStuffins
Sofia the First
Mickey balloon

Scrooge (maybe Mickey's Christmas Carol?)
Jack Skellington (best guess as to who Mr. Jack is)

Elliott from Pete's Dragon
Bambi & Thumper (Baby's First Christmas)
Edna Mode
Up (French=La Haut)
Peter Pan with Wendy on Big Ben
Vanessa looking back at Ursula's reflection

Sets:
Toy Story
Steamboat Willie
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

I noticed a bunch of new ornaments on DS.com on Monday, but didn't have time to post anything. I thought for sure these in particular would've elicited some notice/excitement:

Esmeralda/Hunchback is starting to get a lot of love. I wonder if Disney is finally listening to the fans that have been clamoring for more merch? But based on the ornaments that are already online, this looks to be a good year for holiday decor!

Robin and Marian? Ooh de lally! That will go wonderfully with the Robin and Skippy monthly ornament from earlier this year! I love when Disney actually shows Robin Hood some love.

I'm on the fence whether I like the Rafiki one or not. I'll probably wait to see it in person before I decide if I'm going to get it.

Thanks for posting that list. Keeping it short as I don't even put up a full sized Christmas tree (my cats would destroy it). Going to want Si and Am for my BFF, she loves those cats. And for me Bell with the sheep. Pete's Dragon would be for pure nostalgia, as that was one of my favorite childhood films.

Ohh!! Belle with the sheep is my all time favorite scene! I can't wait to see that ornament! So pumped that we FINALLY have an Esmeralda and Quasi ornament! It's been so long!

Ones that I want:

I'm in love with the Hunchback ornament and the Rabbit's House ornament!! Also, the Kaa one is pretty awesome! I love this year's line ups, though I wonder what the singing ariel ornament is, hoping it's of her on the rock.

Also, you guys should check out Hallmark's disney ornaments.

My wish list is very short as I collect the limited release ornaments:

Sneezy and Dopey sketchbook ornament

I was so upset to wake-up at 5 a.m the morning it came out to realize they were all sold out of them. Meanwhile they are still kicking around at the U.K Disney store...
