Cigarette smoke on pins
Well I am gonna give different tips... Lol...
I unfortunately have the bad habit of being a smoker, and I have once recieved the message of pins smelling like smoke... To my defense...lol... The time I got the message it was not I that paked them, but someone else who helped me... That's besides the point as to what my tips are...lol...
As a result I have changed more of my ways to prevent such an embarrassing situation as this...
1. I eliminated the use of pin bags, I now only use sealed plastic boxes as the material retained the smell much more and thus the pins did as well... In the boxes the smoke never reaches the pins...
2. When we receive new pins, we no longer leave them laying around for a couple days as we used to, they all have a dedicated location from the moment we get them... A separate room from where we spend most of our time... And a sealed box...
3. when shipping pins... Never ever stop to smoke and think it won't linger around, if you need to, go outside a wash up after...lol... As a secondary precaution, I use pre-scented bubble wrap so that the package arrives with a nice fresh smell... Never spray anything onto pins to try to eliminate the odor as you may cause damage...
4. Quit that disgusting smoking habit... It's awful...
Ok so I follow all the above rules religiously and no longer have issues with the smell of my pins... Well at least I do not smell it... Bwahaha...
Woops.... I guess I lied about following rule number 4... Ugh....
