I saw the movie at an advance screening last Thursday night. I loved it. All of us who went together did. Loved the actors, the beautiful sets and costumes, and enjoyed the sweet story. I wasn't even planning on getting the LE blue gown cinderella, but had to after seeing the movie. My only disappointment was finding that so many of the movie items are sold out already, not limited edition items, just regular things from the movie. Hopefully they will restock the items, since before the movie I didn't even want them. Anyways, I'm new here and enjoy reading everyone's comments, thanks!

Welcome to the forum! Yeah, I was undecided on the LE blue gown Cinderella as well until I saw the film. I'm so thankful I was able to see an advance screening and make up my mind before the doll went on sale.

Did anyone get the book A Wish Your Heart Makes ? I got it the other day and although I haven't read a word of it yet, the photos and illustrations are lovely!

I'm thinking about getting the Mary Blair book next.

Yay I found the Cinderella MAC collection here in my city! It's higher than the US price but still cheaper than ebay, wahoo!

I got the powderi Coupe de Chic and lipstick in Royal Ball

I haven't gotten it yet, but I planned on buying it together with the "Once Upon a Dream" book that was released when Maleficent came out. I am really excited to read it! Does it seem to go over the history of the original animated film all the way up to the new one?

Anyone planning on getting the Cinderella Build a Bear? She looks so cute! Debating whether I should ask my dad to get me one or not.

mary blair book is gorgeous. i hope they do some sort of book with concept art for the live action cinderella. i would buy it. lol

i got the little cinderella: a night at the ball paperback and hope to get some more books. maybe later though, buying too many things haha!

I went to check out the Cinderella windows at Saks Fifth Avenue today. They had the Cinderella dress, the slipper, the Fairy Godmother dress and all the designer Cinderella-inspired shoes. I'd seen the Cinderella dress before when it was displayed at JCPenney (yes it is gorgeous) so I was really excited to see the Fairy Godmother dress (also gorgeous). And I stopped at the Swarovski store and got the crystal slipper, which is stunning. I got the soundtrack earlier this week so I do believe I am officially done with all of my Cinderella purchases until the DVD/Blu-ray comes out. (I think -- I am still half considering the carriage speaker if I can find it and maybe the Mary Blair book but then I am done for real). My previous need for a Disney room has turned into a need for a Cinderella room. I still can't believe how nuts I've gone with all this merch. I think I am obsessed.

Oh darn, I forgot! I also want to get the LeSportSac Cinderella makeup bag. So I guess I'm not done yet...

I have "Once Upon a Dream" too. They are both lovely books.

It starts with the traditional fairytale, goes into the 1950s animated film and ends on the new one. I recommend it!

I am looking forward to reading them both! I planned on getting the Once Upon a Dream book back when it first came out, but never got around to it. Now that they made a Cinderella one, it gives me an excuse to pick them both up now (im assuming we will get one for Beauty and the Beast as well called "Tale as Old as Time").

Is it weird that despite how much I loved the film, and despite all of the hype I had for the merchandise, that I have only bought one thing (the soundtrack)? I missed things like the LE doll and pins, and I dunno why I haven't bought other things like the Film Collection dolls and books. I really need to get on that soon before it all disappears lol. I actually got to see the Mattel Cinderella doll in person for the first time today, and while I LOVE her box and her fact sculpt, the hair, dress, and lack of a poseable body kill it for me (I may get her and fix her up a bit). The Disney Store dolls are almost perfect though, with my only real complaint being that Ella's head looks a little too big and slightly masculine. Once my Disney Store eventually re-opens in early April, I think ill just go on a small shopping spree.

I went to Harrods in London today and the windows are gorgeous. I'll try upload pics somewhere so you can see. Saks explains their lack of Fairy Godmother & blue gowns, they have:

-Slipper
- Cinderella and Prince wedding attire
- Designer shoes
- Beggar woman gown & Ella work dress
- Stepsisters corset/lingerie
- Ella pink ball gown
- Tremaine green dress & sisters spotted ensembles
- Tremaine Blue Ensemble with hat (this is STUNNING in person)

Recommend if you want to take photos, go in evening. Reflections off glass are less giving a better view

Amm3 which slipper do you mean, the small one?

As for merch, I bought the small mug, the purse, the soundtrack and the reusable tote. The only Frozen thing I bought was the tote. I think my new addiction is Cinderella! ^_^

I assumed it was one from the movie. Or it could be a display one. It was bigger than the LE if that's the one you mean.

So I joined PhotoBucket so I could share some photos. Here are a few pics from the Saks Fifth Avenue display:

This was the dress when it was at JCPenney:
