Oh my gosh what a crazy price!! I thought it was a steal when I paid $39--and had to drive 2 hours to pick her up on the south side of the border.

Maybe she's not selling too well. Her promo pics were a lot nicer than the actual doll. I love mine but I put a lot of work into her and spent a lot on Swarovski crystals to fancy up her dress. Tempted to buy a 2nd one at that price!!!

Oh wait, no store pick up? Guess they have warehouse stock to clear out--and that totally wouldn't work for me because shipping would cost too much. Still a great deal if you combine to get free shipping.

I actually prefer the cheaper Cinderella toddler doll... Even though the other doll is much nicer the eyes creep me out... Are they glass?

Yeah, I never actually bought her because although I liked the doll, I didn't like her enough to spend $49 (or $59! --which it was in the store). I also remember being rather disappointed seeing her in person because I didn't think she was as cute as in the photos. However, I did just buy her now --- $20 with free shipping is more like what I am willing to pay for this kind of doll. I normally don't go for the toddler/child dolls (with the exception of the Small World set) but I loved this movie so much and that price can't be beat. I think all of the Princess and Me dolls are on sale for the same price for their Thanksgiving/Black Friday sale.

To be honest, most of the Princess and Me dolls kinda creep me out because of their eyes, but I think the live-action Cinderella looks slightly different than their normal dolls. Unfortunately, from what I remember when I saw her in person this past summer, she is definitely cuter in the photos than in real life. I don't know if the eyes are glass or not.

I don't really care the live action Cinderella toddler doll. I think it bugs me that she never wore that dress at that age the doll represents, if anything the doll should've been wearing that white floral dress that she wore in the beginning of the movie; although I'm sure it would make her look unrecognizable.

I took a few pics of my customized Cinderella toddler dolls. The princess and me doll doesn't photograph very well, so you'll just have to believe me when I say she looks a lot prettier in person lol. I used about 500 Swarovski crystals on her, and I like the effect so much I've decided to replace all the stones with Swarovski on my LE 4000 and 500 Cinderella dolls.

And here's the Tolly Tots doll.

Ps: a before pic to show she really needed to be customized

Thanks for sharing your photos! I wonder why the doll ended up looking so different from the prototype. It seems the makeup and hair colors are somewhat brighter and the face is longer than what is in the stock photos.

I really like what you did with her though. Can I ask, how did you fix the hair? Did you wet it and then style it? How did you get the curls? Also, how did you attach the crystals to her hair?

Her makeup might look brighter because of the flash. I'm the WORST at taking pictures. There were a lot of unfortunate changes from the prototype. They raised her eyebrows and altered the shape, they made her eyes wider so you can see the whites around her irises (so she looks a bit crazy from certain angles), and her hair isn't as nice.

I boil permed the hair on mine. I separated each curl into 3 or 4, wrapped them around a drinking straw, secured it with a bobby pin, dunked her head in boiling water for about 20 seconds (in a bowl NOT in a pot on the stove because that would melt it) and then let it dry for a couple days. I let out the curls and weaved them together and played with them until they were in the shape I wanted. Then I stuck the crystals to her hair with the same gem glue I used for her dress. The crystals can take a long time, but they make such a difference in person. I even stuck a few on her box (and removed the annoying picture of the little girl).

Thanks Quasimodo! I did notice her eyebrows are way higher than in the stock photos. I'd love to be able to repaint and lower them, but I'd probably just mess it up.

However, I am going to try your hair trick and add some crystals. Would you mind if I PM you if I run into any questions? It will be a couple of weeks before I do anything though.

Of course you can. I wish I had taken pics of her in progress. I might have some of my other Cinderella dolls. I tried redoing her lips and eyebrows and screwed them both up. I was able to reverse most of the damage, but it was a painful lesson never to do more than I can handle.

Cinderella

She turned out absolutely breathtaking!!! Is there any chance at all that you would be willing to paint my doll's face for a price?

Didn't expect to be posting here again, but Disney has released a new Cinderella 2015 ornament of the glass slipper online.

OMG it's so pretty!!!! Definitely want that. And it stinks that it's parks authentic; my friend's mom was at WDW last week and I could've asked her to pick one up. I'll have to wait until I want enough stuff to get free shipping. Thanks for posting or I never would've seen this!

I must admit my heart stopped when I saw a new post in this thread--and I wasn't disappointed! That's a beautiful ornament. I may have to hit up one of my Cali friends to pop in and grab me one.

Thanks for sharing!

Glad I could let you all know! I was so surprised to see it on the website, so I knew I had to share it here! I think its a gorgeous ornament, and I will be trying to get it myself. :)
