So because of this thread, I took a look at what DA LE100 pins were for sale in my price range. Found one that matched my primary collection. It's an older one, so not as big as some of the later pins. As fate would have it, the day after I bought it, we went to an Antique Mall and I found something that the pin was sort of based on. The pin is modeled after the pocket watch, and I found the wristwatch version, but it's the same middle image design; a Revolutionary War era Mickey that Disney used for it's Bicentennial items.

DA pins are some of my favorite pins in my collection for all of the reasons stated above... They're just all around gorgeous and beautiful pieces of art. If Disney were smart, they would bring them back into the market. One can dream...
