Hello Everyone and happy New Year.

So I have been building my traders up and have been going to WDI and DSF and wanted to try for some pins they did not have so I went you know where (I thought we can say Ebay on this site)

Anyways, there was a Jessica pin I wanted because it is Magic themed. (I am a Magician for those of you who did not know) I also bid on some Jessica DSF pins (Decades Series) and first won the Magician pin and it was shipped and a couple of days later I won 6 of the 8 Jessica Decades pins.

When the magician pin which was a Disney Shopping LE250 showed up I was really upset because I could tell it was not a real pin. I then noticed the seller already had another one up for auction. Well, I waited to receive the Jessica Decades and many things did not look right.

I was comparing to pinpics and they just don’t look right. I noticed on the back that 4 of the 6 say Disney / Amblin Ent and 2 of them don’t. (1[SUP]st[/SUP] red flag) I then thought they would have better placement on the cards, they are nowhere near center and 2 of them are almost off the top. (2[SUP]nd[/SUP] red flag)

The artwork is not real clear either such as the eyes and features and the color might be off too (3[SUP]rd[/SUP] red flag) 3 strikes your out.

The thing that gets me is they are on official DSF backer cards and have price tags on them, then I thought to myself that on I think every pin I have ever gotten from DSF, the price is on the plastic sleeve, not on the card. (4[SUP]th[/SUP] red flag?)

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Maybe I am being too paranoid but I think they are all fake because I looked today and the same seller has the same pins for sale again. I did notice on the Jessica Magician pin it has that saying “Tradeable at the park†where the DSF said “NEW ON CARDâ€

I know there is another post but what about the back stamp saying different things? They should all be the same.

Later I searched their listings (sellers other items) and notices they sell scrapper lots too. I know just because you are holding the bloody knife does not mean you did it but what about all the evidence I have.

We should be allowed to name them. Please IM me if you have had this experience maybe with the same person and I will also let you know who this is and if we are on the same page.

I want to take action against this person.

Thanks and have a great new year everyone. Also, be sure to check my traders (other than the Jessica Decades series) I bought all the DSF and WDI pins personally and have gone through all my traders to remove any suspect pins.

I hope to trade with you soon.

Best Regards.

Hi Dan,
I pulled my DSF Jessica decades pins purchased at DSF out of my storage boxes and here's the scoop:
all price tags are on the outside plastic flap at the back bottom.
Barcodes / code printed on Backer Card / Copyright on back of pin:
1910s: 4 00909 11586 5 | P389-7448-2-11189 | DISNEY/AMBLIN ENT.
1920s: 4 00909 11587 2 | P389-7448-2-11112 | DISNEY/AMBLIN ENT.
1930s: 4 00909 11588 9 | P389-7448-2-11181 | Disney
1940s: 4 00909 11589 6 | P389-7448-2-11112 | DISNEY/AMBLIN ENT.
1950s: 4 00909 11590 2 | P389-7448-2-11112 | Disney/Amblin Ent.
1960s: 4 00909 11591 9 | P389-7448-2-11112 | DISNEY/AMBLIN ENT.
1970s: 4 00909 11592 6 | P389-7448-2-11181 | Disney
1980s: 4 00909 11593 3 | P389-7448-2-11112 | Disney/Amblin Ent.

Hey The other Steve.
Nice to hear from you. I believe you remember me. I hope to see you soon at an upcoming PTN or at the park.
Thank you for this information as this now clears up the Disney versus Disney amblin ent. On the back.
Interesting that some have it and some don’t.

I did go through my backer cards as I have well over 200 of them that I personally purchased from DSF and realized ½ of them do have the price on the card, however, none of them have the P code.

Not on the card or the pin. Based on the information you supplied, I would imagine that now all DSF pins have this code on both the card and Pin. Would you agree?

Thank you for the info. I still suspect that these are not real. It seems that as of a certain date, all pins have the P number that matches the card.

Your thoughts and everyone’s thoughts?

Thank you

Please PM me the seller's info. I am almost sure that those are scrappers. All Jessica decades have been messed with but they are still shown on card. Never the cellophane wrapping with the bar code on it though.
