Designer Princess Rapunzel pin

I purchased this pin from a DPF member. I did not open her till this morning as it was my big Christmas gift. I love her but to the right hand side in her gown. about a 1/2 inch from bottom is an imperfection . Not sure if it is suppose to look like this and it was never mentioned in the member's description nor did he mention it . At $350.00, I feel it should have been mentioned. Will I sell her ! Absolutely Not, but I am a little disappointed that it wasn't mentioned as I would have asked for a negotiation on the price. Can someone that has it, please tell me if yours has this look to it . Thank You.

Every set that I have seen had imperfections randomly in the different pins. Our Jasmine had some bubbles in her hair and some rough spots. Every set I saw had an issue with at least one if not multiple pins. It was just a quality issue with these pins. Rapunzel is crazy hard imperfections or not so congrats on adding her to your collection!

Thank You Avery and jadeites-lady. I guess I'm lucky that my imperfection is near the bottom of her gown . Is not really that visible especially on the gorgeous lanyard that Amy made for me . I'm really happy to have added her to my collection. Thank You for your responses, I truly appreciate it ! Hugs

I think Selen's Cinderella Designer pin had an imperfection in her dress and remember others commenting that some of their princesses have flaws. I only own the Jasmine one but I am lucky as my one does not seem to have any flaws. My Jasmine Designer came from the same set as Selen's Cinderella.

I do think that maybe it should have been mentioned in the sale thread, though but congrats on getting a wonderful pin.

I know the metal on back of the pins in my set looked tarnished from day 1

Maybe you should PM the seller and say something, if you're disappointed. If she has a noticable flaw, then yes I feel it should have been mentioned in the listing.

My designer Cinderella also has a small imperfection in the gown. I think a lot of these did.

Just to report, my Designer Rapunzel pin is free of any major-type flaws. The only consistent thing I noticed on almost all of the Designer Princess pins that I have that seems a bit "off" are the buffing "streaks" that are visible only when the pin is held at an angle in the light. Other than that, only my Designer Tiana has any type of flaw, with a few tiny pits on her skirt, which is the same issue that randomly plagues a lot of the Designer Princess pins.

Yes Shivatopia, you really need to hold it at an angle to notice it. It is like a streak, but color is a bit off too in that area, darker pink with no glitter.
Waiting to hear from Grim, the member has a pin he wanted for his Rapunzel depending upon whether his is perfect. If not I will keep her as I am over the moon that she is safely stored in my curio cabinet.
