Designer Princess Set....Need answers for a problem...
To answer your specific questions about re-sell potential and whether or not you can list it as "new"...

Once again, the re-sell potential depends on how picky your buyer is. A few of us have said it wouldn't bother us, but some of us are more particular. Therefore, some people it might bother...IMO, I just don't think it would be so bad as to be unsellable. Of course, any sort of flaw at all is less desirable than PERFECT, but pins are rarely perfect anyway...

My husband and I never list "mint" on anything we sell, anyway. Mostly because the people who look for things like "mint" can be VERY fussy, and everyone's definition of "mint" is different. So everyone the stuff that we list that seems flawless, we still won't say "mint". There are just too many opinions and levels of expectations out there...

As far as the "new" status goes...my rule of thumb is this- if I am the only owner after Disney, and I never did anything with it (kept it in original packaging, etc.), I feel secure enough to list it as "new". If someone else sold/traded it to me besides Disney, I list it as "used". But you can always add specifics in a listing (on original card, like-new condition, etc.).
