I'm a big comic book fan, especially of the old school comics (like the 10cent comics) and Disney has had some iconic covers over the years. I think they would make great pins. Has this ever been done? If not how can we get them to do this?

I like this idea, but I'd even do some more current ones. Here's a few I'd recommend:

Oh there are SO many Disney comics out there it's insane. Thousands of comic books, hundreds of titles.

A lot of those comics were drawn by the animators which drew the cells back in the day. MANY of today's pin designs are also based on those cartoons and comics of course. But to introduce comic cover pins has been discussed every once in a while. I am not certain if you noticed that they brought back some of the original posters in the park, but that was part of the same discussion a few years back.

So, don't get your hopes built up, but there may come a time when that does happen. But thanks to the overwhelming popularity of the PODM pins, they are seeing that as their current cash cow in the pin world for the next couple of years or longer.

I'd be happy with some Disney Comic Book pins. With so many covers to choose from, there's an endless pool of pin designs. Another idea would be to make pins based off the record covers of the old "Disneyland" vinyls released years ago.

I think that would be a great idea, a good addition to attraction pins and movie poster pins. I love the old cover designs. I don't know who, specifically, you'd write to, though. Something to research...

Hopefully whoever designs pins will think about these, especially since they are releasing four comic book covers of Avengers on Friday.
