Disney Land Paris - Pin Trading
Ive heard the best store for pins is Harringtons (I forget where it is and only been told not been yet) and like someone else said try the hotels as some older pins do sneak themselves away..as partner went to DLRPin April and had trouble finding the Stitch exp Babyfier pin and found it in one of the hotels after 3-4 days of seaching the park for it lol

and going on spending money, Ive got 200euro already and maybe looking at taking 300-500 just in case I see something and if I attend the PTN. but then again Im not on the lookout to be buying many pins at the moment unless it will be for other people or getting some traders other than that my spending money is safe (for now) as Im tempted by the zodiac stitch pins but for me Ive been wanting the DA Stitch Zodiac pins for aaaages now and would prefer the DA to the DLRP ones but then again when on holiday things do tend to go a different way XD

Harringtons is the last shop in the right main street, otherwise there is always enporium main street but was the first left.

in the shop you will not find more than what is listed on pinpics

Harrintons usually has most of the LE pins to purchase that are available its the best source. Yes i am wading into th4e debate here I have some very good french pin trading friends its not right to lump pieople into a category I have seem as many sharks in the US particularly when trading at downtown and never actually traded there because of it. so lets not tar people with brushes please. Trading is what you make of it enjoy the joke and say no thank you or not as the case may be.
Remember one importaqnt thing about this it will be COLD very COLD this may impact on whether or not there are any traders out anyway.

I will 2nd what Jacqui says, we have just returned from 5 nights in DLP and Traded just over 100 pins both in the park at at the PTN. There are far more Fair traders than "sharks" but the french traders are only looking for mainly DLP pins, I went with 300+ traders WDW,DL,HK,TDL,DS and UK but only traded a handfull of uk pins 1 TDL 2 HK and the rest were DLP at the event.
The Pin Board at the weekends is out all day at the Pablo trading post behind big thunder, with pin games to win pins for free, no there is somthing that does not happen alot free stuff.
Sure trade the Uk core range with CM as they are a cheep trader, but they will want to choose, and try to refuse if they want the pin themselfs, they almost regard the pins as there own.
Be careful and know your pins value, and most of all have fun.

Erm... have I missed something? Where are people being lumped into a category?

Yes, I have made some critical posts here, and others have too. But we all have made a point to say that there's bad apples in every bunch, doesn't matter if it's fellow traders anywhere in the world or CM.

No one has tarred people with brushes - unless you're counting us criticising that some hide behind the language barrier as that. And I do stand to what I said there. Never happened to me anywhere else. And this topic is specifically about Paris, so of course we'll point out things that specifically happen there.

Yes there are sharks but overall french traders are nice people you avoid those who are not! Its the same the world over and not fair to lump evryone in the same. Weekends people are at the peublo trading post mid week you will find very few people about trading and yes the lanyards these days are full of scrappers but again theya re the world over I havt traded off a lanyard other than at event for years.
Vala are you going this weekend if so see you there

Hi there,we go a few times each year to Disney Paris and its great, got annual passes.
although we have found some of the French traders a bit thought to trade with ,most are lovely
seek out Nardia,Patrick and frank cast members in charge of pin trading ,all speak excellent English , as do most traders
there are usually pin boards in hanningons in main street, and at the pin station in fantasyland opposite Peter pan ride or if it's open the trading station in frontier land ,but usually only at the weekends.
PTN used to be a battle but since the introduction of wristbands run much better. Next event is Friday 25th jan at Disneyland hotel 6-9pm
as to cast lanyards ,cast members will trade with anyone ,green lanyards only for children but they do wear their own lanyards sometimes and will only trade if they want to,this I find annoying !!!
look out for cast lanyard pins especially ,even the French traders want them ,keep your uk store le for best ,yes they are highly sought after,
hope this helps. But above all have fun and enjoy xxxxx
